< Episode 120>
“Do you remember where this is?”
Eveline realized Elkais had carried her all the way to the cave near the waterfall at the base of the mountain.
“This is where we first did it.”
“Yeah.”
He smiled as he replied.
“Let’s not do it here.”
“Why?”
“I want to do it at the lake near that cabin over there.”
“Alright.”
At that, he began climbing the mountain again—quickly cutting through the rain. Eveline clung tightly to his shoulders.
It made her a little dizzy, but she also found it thrilling and pleasant, so she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Eventually, the lake came into view.
“Why this place, though?”
“Well, back when I was caught in the rain here… you held back, remember?”
Eveline had wanted to come back here because she remembered how he had restrained himself, even while burning with desire, and had given her a suppressant instead.
Back then, drenched in the rain, she had clung to him like a madwoman, seducing him—and yet he had resisted with admirable patience.
“It’s a little disappointing now that the rain doesn’t trigger a heat cycle anymore.”
“…Is it?”
“Yeah. I’m not scared of imprinting anymore, so the heat doesn’t bother me either. If I did go into heat, wouldn’t I only be able to get through it with you anyway?”
“That’s true.”
He felt a bit of that disappointment too, but there was far more to be happy about now—so he just smiled.
“Put me down now.”
“Alright.”
He gently and carefully lowered her to the ground. The moment her heels touched down, she threw her arms around his neck and said,
“My darling… you’re the most amazing man in the world.”
She hadn’t expected herself to be able to say something so cheesy—but once she did, it wasn’t so hard. Embarrassing, sure, and her heart fluttered—but not hard.
Just as she loosened her arms to let go—
“Ah!”
He suddenly spun around and swept her back into his arms, surprising her into a squeal.
“Ah—El—mmph…”
Elkais hurriedly pressed her head down and kissed her.
Rumble…!
“Hh…”
As she shivered lightly, he removed his hand from her head, caressing her wet hair instead as he explored her mouth.
Eveline opened her eyes slightly, seeing how his hungry gaze softened into tenderness, and she returned the kiss.
Rain fell from the sky. The storm clouds had lifted, but a sunshower fell from the white clouds, creating a beautiful and surreal landscape.
But to Elkais, the most beautiful part of that scene—was his wife.
He kissed her with near-obsessive intensity, tangling with her closely. And when she shuddered with arousal, he pushed in deeper, pressing his body to hers.
The kiss was so deep Eveline forgot to breathe. She only managed to gasp for air when their lips briefly parted.
“Hff…”
His hand, which had been in her hair, trailed down to her neck. Then, as he began to undress her, he paused.
“…We probably shouldn’t do this out here.”
“Huh? Why not?”
“…If we do, the animals will see us.”
“Pfft… What is that supposed to mean? You don’t want to?”
“It’s not that I don’t want to.”
Elkais didn’t want anyone—be it beast or man—laying eyes on Eveline’s body. And deep down, he hoped she would feel that same possessiveness for him. But she didn’t seem to think much of it.
“I want to, though.”
“…”
“Darling, really? You’re not going to?”
At her words, he hesitated.
“If we don’t do it now… maybe we won’t tonight either—mmph…”
He pulled her by the neck and kissed her again. Eveline laughed softly into the kiss, amused by how simple his thoughts were.
The hand at her neck moved down to gently trace her defined collarbone. She liked the ticklish sensation of his fingertip grazing over it.
“Elkais.”
When she called his name, he lifted his lips from hers.
“You’re really handsome… even in the rain.”
He smiled brightly at her words and gently set her down.
But then, he saw the rainwater that had dripped down her neck slide between her br*asts—and suddenly, he was parched.
“Eveline.”
He called her name as he reached for the front of her wedding dress, pulling it down. Her bare ch*st was exposed, and raindrops began falling directly on her skin.
The rain was surprisingly warm. She liked how it felt as it flowed over her body.
“Can I take it all off?”
“Go ahead.”
At her permission, he began undressing her.
“Pfft…”
“What’s so funny?”
“I just remembered how you ripped my dress before.”
“Oh… right. That was because of the rain too…”
Elkais remembered the time when, after getting caught in the rain with Abellard, he had nearly pounced on Eveline wanting to imprint with her. The memory made him feel embarrassed, but since she was smiling, he also smiled in relief.
“If we had imprinted back then, that would’ve been a disaster.”
“Why’s that?”
“Well, I might have ended up falling in love with you… but I don’t think you would’ve felt love that way.”
That’s what Eveline believed.
Elkais had always hated the Alpha–Omega relationships that began purely physically. So if they had imprinted during that time—when she had just become an Omega and he was still an Alpha—and made love under those circumstances, he likely wouldn’t have been able to open his heart to her.
“I don’t think that would’ve happened.”
“Really?”
“Yes.”
Elkais smiled gently as he answered.
“Even if I had held you in my arms and imprinted with you that way—I still would have ended up loving you.”
The certainty in his voice made Eveline’s heart pound.
At some point, he had completely undressed her and laid her clothes aside. Now, he simply gazed at her like a living masterpiece, smiling as he took her in.
“I love you because you, as a person, are so lovable—not just because of your body. Though… yes, I do love your body. And all the sweet little things you do too.”
She couldn’t meet his eyes from embarrassment—until she saw the outline of his chest through his soaked shirt and lifted her gaze to meet his crimson eyes.
“And the moments I feel like I love you most… aren’t just when we make love. Those moments are fleeting. I feel it when we breathe together, when our eyes meet—that’s when it’s real.”
Elkais slowly removed his own clothes and approached her.
He had taken off everything except his pants. Eveline, who had nothing on, suddenly felt conscious—he still had something on, and she didn’t.
“When you make that kind of face… it makes me feel so good.”
“What kind of face?”
“The one that looks like you want to scold me.”
Eveline laughed softly at his words.
“Well then, why don’t you go ahead and take them off?”
“Alright.”
He grinned with happiness and took off his pants.
Eveline took his hand and led him into the lake.
Then, she said to him,
“I hope we make a baby today.”
As she spoke, she caressed his ch*st. He smiled like he was about to melt and brought her hand to his lips to kiss it.
“Yeah.”
Then he wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up.
“You don’t mind if I bite, right?”
“…Hh, no.”
She flinched in surprise as he supported her h*ps and kissed her stomach. He nibbled just beside her belly button, then began to softly bite.
Then, slowly, he lowered her body and took her soft flesh into his mouth.
“There are still… a lot of m-marks…”
Eveline looked at her ch*st and laughed, noticing the makeup that had once covered her bite marks was all gone.
Even before the wedding, they had spent plenty of nights together. When she wore dresses that revealed her upper body, she had to cover those marks up because they were too obvious.
Now that the skin-colored makeup had completely dissolved in the water, her bite-mark-covered ch*st was exposed—and it made her laugh.
“If you leave this many marks, people are going to misunderstand.”
“Then you leave some too.”
“Gladly.”
She trembled as he bit a sensitive spot, then nipped his ear in return.
But he suckled more insistently, pressing in with his lips and teasing with his canines—making it nearly impossible for her to get a proper bite in.
Her h*ps trembled out of control, her body heating up.
“Hh… that’s… not fair…”
He laughed happily at her words and moved to bite the other side.
He nibbled gently at first, then just when she relaxed, sucked hard—clearly on purpose. Eveline found it petty… but it still felt amazing.
She was utterly overwhelmed.
“Elkais…”
She smiled blissfully as her ch*st pressed into his nose and her back arched.
Then, in that moment—
“Eveline!”
She fainted.
* * *
“Ugh…”
When Eveline opened her eyes, she was in the bedroom of their honeymoon suite.
“Why is my wife sick? Explain right now. When is the priest arriving?!”
“D-Duke de Robein, please just a moment—”
“I said explain immediately! Why did my wife faint?!”
As she listened to Elkais’s panicked voice, Eveline was about to say that she’d woken up—just as he turned around and their eyes met.
“Eveline!”
“So I really did faint, huh?”
“I was so worried, Eveline… ha…”
Elkais pulled her into his arms with relief, leaning against her shoulder like he was collapsing from all the tension.
“The Lady Eveline Wilden…”
The physician hesitated for a moment, then spoke.
“…is pregnant.”
Eveline laughed at those words—because what she had wished for had already come true.

TL/N: THANK F*CKING GOD IT’S OVER. No seriously—it’s done. FINISHED. I cannot begin to express how much I DESPISED this novel. Like truly, from the deepest depths of my soul, I hated this thing. I spent so much time on it, edited it to death, had breakdowns over dumbass comments, but you know what? It’s finally over and I never have to lay eyes on it again. And honestly? Go ahead. Trash it in the reviews. Give it a one star, give it zero, idc. I’ll personally be logging into Naver to drop a fat-ass Korean review about how utterly nonsensical and brain-melting this plot was.
To the person who said I didn’t proofread: You think I didn’t?! Bro, in the beginning, I was using like three different tools—Papago, Naver, freaking Daum Dictionary—to piece this together, and guess what? I translated Chapter 1 TWICE and somehow it still spat out “Husbad.” I was just as confused as you. I changed my whole method after that and suddenly the brother kept showing up??? Like????
And yeah, I forgot about it, okay? Then I saw the comment and fixed it. But let’s be real here—this novel was a full-blown migraine. I debated dropping it SO. MANY. TIMES. And yes, I saw the comments on NU. But then I saw you guys actually buying the locked chapters. Like, people were PAYING. So tell me—how could I just drop it when y’all were putting actual money into this mess?
You readers at least had the chance to rage quit halfway through. I didn’t. I had a duty. A cursed, painful duty. And yes, part of me wanted to see how this sh*tshow ended with my own two eyes—not through MTL hell.
So yeah. It’s over. We’re free. Let’s all go touch grass or something.
