Episode 24
“What?”
“It’s strange.”
“Mama.”
The children hiding under Dylan’s bed tilted their heads.
It was around dawn when Dylan, who had disappeared for a few hours, returned and fell asleep.
A strangely familiar scent tickled their nostrils when he returned.
The children crawled out of bed one by one, following the familiar scent and the scent they had smelled under the bed seemed to become a little stronger.
Lia, whose eyes sparkled, was the first to jump onto Dylan’s bed.
Dylan didn’t move at all, either because he was sleeping so deeply that he couldn’t hear the children’s noise or because he was ignoring them.
“It’s Erina!”
Lia shouted, lifting Dylan’s left hand.
The scent that came from around Erina’s house was subtly lingering at his fingertips.
Resen, who had also rashed to the bed at Lia’s shout, grabbed Dylan’s right hand.
As Lia said, this was Erina’s scent.
“Erina!”
Resen accidentally put Dylan’s finger in his nostril due to his moving momentum.
Consequently, Dylan’s eyelids went up, as if he couldn’t ignore his finger entering Resen’s nostril.
“What.”
His cold blue eyes landed on his two niblings who were each holding one of his hands.
Lia and Resen, not to be deterred by his gaze, raised their voices even louder.
“This is shameful!”
“Did you see Erina?!”
Dylan gave a short snort to his niblings who were screaming and raised his upper body.
He thought it would be faster to just throw them off himself.
But when he tried to separate Resen and Lia from himself, Poi joined them too.
So instead of getting his two niblings off, another one joined them.
The excuse the kids gave for clinging to him was that it was revenge for Dylan seeing Erina alone.
Of course, Dylan, who didn’t care about the reason, only felt more tired because of the children.
“We’re going to see Erina too!”
“Show us Erina!”
“Dylan, you idiot!”
The children’s tantrums, which they called punishment, continued even while Dylan was working.
The guys who usually knew their limits and didn’t follow him to the office seemed determined today.
Resen would eat up the documents, Lia would throw flower petals and scribbles on the documents, and Poi would fold up the documents and hide them in his trouser pocket.
The childish and petty behavior continued to the point where it was difficult to laugh it off.
“Mr. Dylan! Pages 23 to 27 are missing!”
“Oh, it’s in this guy’s stomach.”
Dylan pointed to Resen and spoke to Mitzu, who had opened the door with a bang.
Mitzu’s face crumpled as he heard his words.
“Resen?! It’s you again!!”
“Mmm!”
“Spit it out quickly! I said spit it out! I was up till 3am yesterday organizing that!”
Mitzu said, poking Resen’s plump belly.
It was an act of frustration, as he could not use magic or force against a child who was not even six months old.
“Are you really spitting it out?”
“Yeah! Ah, let me go now… ugh!”
Resen spat out the things inside his stomach into Mitzu’s hand with a ‘ugh’ sound.
Although it was just undigested pieces of paper, and it didn’t smell much. But it felt really dirty.
Mitzu dried the papers with a frown. Fortunately, his power was fire.
The papers in Mitzu’s hand dried crisply in the hot air flowing through his palm, regaining their original shape.
“Resen, if you keep doing things like this, it’ll be no fun!”
“Hmm!”
Even though Mitsu was growling beside him, Resen just kept humming and rubbing his ears.
Dylan, who was looking at the two with pitiful eyes, asked.
“What about Hael?”
“She is in the middle of redoing some paperwork that little redhead messed up.”
Mitzu answered, pointing to Lia.
Whether she knew it or was just following her instincts, Lia only messed up the parts where the important words were written.
The red petal marks she splattered on the documents turned a shade of dark red that were reminiscent of blood and were uncomfortable to look at.
The employees who were doing accounting work with Hael were so frightened that they threw down the paper, so Hael had to copy the original documents again by herself.
Because of that, Hael’s mood suddenly plummeted and thunder and lightning were striking crazily around Harrison.
“Tell Hael to stop there. She is being noisy.”
“Yes. I will convey that.”
“Go.”
Dylan ordered Mitzu without taking his eyes off the papers. However Mitzu, who was about to say ‘yes’ and leave, suddenly changed course and headed back to Dylan.
Then he squinted his eyes and began to examine every corner of Dylan’s face.
The pupils in Mitzu’s red eyes grew thicker and thinner, showing an expression of interest.
Of course, it was natural to strike quickly and retreat in a way that wouldn’t provoke Dylan’s temper, which was the subject of interest.
“Dylan, your complexion is really good, isn’t it?”
“…”
“You were clearly dull last night. Why is your face glowing this morning? Isn’t it strange?”
Mitzu was even more irritable today
The corners of his mouth went up slightly with a mischievous look
He looked at Dylan from side to side.
It was clear that something had happened between the niblings and uncle.
Mitzu was kicked out the door at the same time he was amazed at his own reasoning.
Mitzu let out a hollow laugh as he watched the large door close before his eyes in an instant.
“Anyway, his temper is…”
“Dylan has a bad temper.”
“Yak!”
Mitzu, who had assumed that he would be alone, was startled by the ominous voice coming from below and took a step back.
When he glanced down, he could see a purple head of hair.
“Poi?!”
“Dylan is greedy.”
“Huh?!”
Poi suddenly started swearing at his uncle in front of him.
Mitzu raised one eyebrow as he watched Poi do it.
He knew that the uncle and niblings didn’t get along well, but why did he go out of his way to badmouth his uncle to him?
Since Poi was usually the most reclusive, his change in attitude made Mitzu even more embarrassed.
Mitsu asked, crouching down in front of Poi.
“Poi, why is Uncle so greedy? Is there a reason why you guys are acting so grumpy today?”
“Dylan is an idiot.”
“Are you not going to tell me?”
“Dylan is a fool.”
“Who am I talking to right now?”
Mitzu sighed deeply as she watched Poi muttering insults.
And then he realized. The documents he had worked so hard to put away were now rolled up into a ball in Poi’s hands.
“Poi!!!!”
“Dylan is a bad boy.”
“You are worse!!”
Mitsu quickly snatched the documents from Poi’s hand.
However, the documents that returned to Mitzu were so badly crumpled that they could not properly perform their role anymore.
Mitzu glared at Poi with his red eyes sparkling. And affected by Mitzu’s murderous aura, dozens of azaleas bloomed around them, but Poi had an indifferent expression on his face.
“Dylan is a little *****.”
He still hadn’t forgotten what he wanted to say.

The triplets became even more irritable after Dylan was caught seeing Erina.
The only good thing was that the scope of their temper was changed from the entire house to just Dylan.
The servants worked even harder during this quiet time, not knowing when the triplets would start acting up again.
“Master, the meal is ready. Do you want to eat now?”
“No, it’s alright.”
“If you don’t eat it today, it’ll be the fifth day you haven’t eaten anything. How about just having a taste?”
“I don’t have an appetite, so just go out.”
“Yes, if there’s anything you’d like to eat, please call me anytime.”
Dylan nodded halfheartedly at the old butler’s words.
The butler left the office with a polite greeting.
The door closed, followed by Dylan’s sigh.
He looked at the three dragons attached to his calves.
Resen, Lia, and Poi now tormented Dylan in their dragon form. And the torment methods also became more and more primitive.
Dylan couldn’t tell if he was looking at his niblings or lesser creatures.
Honestly, even if the little guys were to bully him, how bad would it be?
Up until now, Dylan had been annoyed by the bullying from the kids, but he had never really thought about punishing them.
But, the current situation was quite serious. His niblings had stopped growing on their own and were starting to degenerate further and further.
He went to great lengths to find and bring them here so that he could rest as quickly as possible, but to his dismay, he was living like that.
In addition, unlike the relief he felt because their first molting was quick, they had no will to grow after that.
There should be no such thing as stopping their growth.
No, at this rate, instead of becoming the head of the household, it seems like he’s just going to end up with more mouths to feed.
In the end, Dylan concluded that this couldn’t go on and stood up, brushing off his legs.
Then, the dragons that were hanging on his legs fell off one by one.
The dragons that fell off his legs and rolled away grumbled with little “waang, waang” cries of annoyance, but to Dylan, it was nothing more than irritating noise.
Stay strong, tiny dragons! Thanks for the TL ✨
