Dylan, the baby dragons’ uncle, told her not to worry and that it was okay. It was something that all dragons went through and that nothing could go that wrong.

But Erina couldn’t just sit still and believe those words.

How could it be normal for children who were fine until yesterday evening to suddenly start getting sick one after another?

Erina, who had left the dragons to Dylan in a hurry, diligently climbed deep into the forest.

“The kids are shivering like this because they have a high fever. I think they’ll feel better if we cool them down a little.”

The dragons that had swallowed the medicine cried and dug into Erina’s arms.

Erina felt so sorry for those dragons that she didn’t know what to do.

Dylan, their uncle by blood, was just yawning softly next to me.

After some time, the medicine took effect and the whining dragons fell asleep again.

Erina, who had a gentler expression on her face than before, placed Resen, Lia, and Poi back on the bed and rubbed their stiff shoulders.

“Miss Erina? Will you be okay being alone today? If you’re feeling anxious, I’ll wait outside.”

Dylan asked Erina.

Dylan was about to leave after giving me a friendly smile.

“I need to be there for the kids.”

Erina bowed to Dylan and went into bed.

Erina’s hair shone softly in the moonlight streaming in through the window.
