Sorel threw up both hands with an embarrassed smile.
“No, everyone is busy. It’s okay if I go alone. I’ll just look around and come back.”
She had been sitting quietly until now, but suddenly she wanted to look around the mansion by herself?
Eve put on a friendly face and spoke as friendly as she could. Not as a sharp pointer, but as if to gently dissuade him.
“You can’t do that. This is not the imperial palace, but the Grand Duke’s mansion. You can’t roam around freely without the owner’s permission.”
She thought she spoke very kindly. After hearing her point, Sorel suddenly bit her lower lip as if she was embarrassed and looked like she was crying.
“But I’m sorry for bothering the people in the mansion because of me.”
‘Then you can just stay here, right?’
While she was thinking this in her heart and couldn’t bear to say it out loud, she heard a cold voice next to her.
“Then we can stay together and go look around later, right?”
Diane was looking up from the blueprint and speaking with an indifferent expression. Her expression was calm, but her tone was too cold to be just something she said. Didn’t this look like someone was starting a fight?
Sorel, who was crying as if she was about to shed tears at any moment, held back her tears at Diane’s sharp criticism and smiled warmly again.
“My sister and Miss Diane are so focused on preparing for the wedding, but I feel like I am interfering with them. I thought it would be better to avoid the place.”
She quickly got between the two. She was grateful that Diane spoke for her on what she wanted to say, but if this continues, there’s going to be a fight.
“Then how about taking a break and going to see the banquet hall?”
“Is that so?”
As she looked at the structure of the mansion, she thought of a route to separate Sorel and Diane, even if just for a moment.
“Sorel and I will tour the mansion and see the first banquet hall. Miss Diane said she had been to the first banquet hall, so would she like to tour the second banquet hall first? Afterwards, we will all meet together at the third banquet hall.”
Considering the size of the mansion, it was difficult to visit all three banquet halls. Just looking at Diane’s face, she said she was still very motivated, but she implicitly showed signs of exhaustion.
“I think that would be a good idea.”
They both agreed after hearing her plan. They made a plan and split into two teams. Diane went to the second dinner hall alone, accompanied only by one of her maids, and Sorel and she began touring the mansion, guided by the butler. As she walked down the hallway, she was able to see the interior of the mansion in more detail. She looked around the last time she came, but this was her first time going to the banquet hall.
“It’s a really beautiful mansion.”
The hallway had a long floor and ceiling with detailed and elaborate decorations. Sorel, who was following behind, agreed.
“A wedding here will be beautiful.”
She observed Sorel whenever she was looking at the mansion. Sorel was looking around the mansion in fascination. Her flawless silver eyes were full of pure admiration. However, it was noticeable that the structure and location of the mansion were carefully examined. Sorrel, who had come to the temple, had begged to follow her to this mansion, but she had insisted a little while ago that she wanted to check out the mansion alone. When she first followed them to the mansion, Eve wondered if her purpose was to observe her. She may be feeling suspicious because her half-sister has suddenly changed.
She was wondering if Sorel was trying to watch from the side to see what happened. Now that she saw it, it seemed that’s not all.
‘Could it be that the purpose from the beginning was to look at the mansion?’
But why was Sorel looking into the Grand Duke’s mansion? What was she doing here? Of course, there was a point to point out.
‘Could it be that he received an order from the Emperor to inspect the Grand Duke’s mansion?’
But considering the original work, it was impossible. In the original story, Sorel was a good daughter who listened to the Emperor, but she had an honest and upright personality like a good heroine. She never did anything that she thought was unacceptable.
‘Sorel was unaware of the plot behind Eve’s death.’
Sorel felt sorry for Eve’s death, as she was a good heroine. Although she felt bad for a while and recovered quickly. Still, considering that almost all of the characters were overjoyed at Eve’s death, it was great that she even felt sorry for a moment. It feels really amazing, especially considering that Sorrel was the one who was bullied the most by Eve. Of course, the readers’ reaction was very bad, and she was filled with various criticisms, such as saying that the heroine was a hottie, that she had a severe saint’s disease, and so on.
‘But that’s the original…’
There were already parts of this world that were subtly different from the original. If so, it was possible that Sorel’s personality would also be different from her original version.
‘After experiencing her for about an hour, she seems clearly different from the original Sorel.’
They were heading down the hallway toward the banquet hall. It was when she passed the exhibition room displaying paintings and turned the corner of the hallway. On one wall, there was a translucent door made of inlaid crystal. Beyond that, a long corridor was vaguely visible.
Sorel asked, looking in that direction.
“Where does this passage lead?”
She answered as the butler who was ahead of her turned around with a look of regret on her face.
“This is the entrance to the greenhouse.”
“Greenhouse?”
“It is a greenhouse decorated as a tea room. Can I guide you?”
Before she could answer, Sorel spoke first.
“Yes, I really want to see it.”
The butler turned his gaze to Eve.
“Okay, let’s go.”
“Then I will take you this way.”
The butler opened the glass door and led them into the corridor. When he opened the door, a long corridor leading to the roof and pillars appeared. There was a place like this.
The corridor passed through the main building of the mansion and continued outside. She didn’t go here the last time she came. It was so far away that she didn’t even know this place existed. At the time, she wasn’t able to see much of the mansion because she was talking with Terence. After walking along a long corridor for a while, they came to a round glass building. The end of the corridor led there.
“This is the greenhouse.”
They opened the glass door and entered the greenhouse. The greenhouse was a round building with octagonal walls. The walls and floor were all made of green gems that looked like crystal. Crystal pieces of different colors were placed all over the walls and floor like a mosaic, creating a soft glow inside even without any lights on. The garden surrounding the greenhouse was clearly visible through the clear glass windows on all sides. There were large glass windows on each octagonal wall. There were several flower pots near the window, and there was a table where you could drink tea in the very center of the greenhouse.
“Oh my, what a beautiful greenhouse.”
It was quite far away from the main building of the mansion, so it was quiet and secluded, but it was also bright and bright with an open view. It seemed perfect for quietly contemplating or relaxing alone. The butler explained in a proud voice.
“The glass here cannot be seen from the outside. That’s what’s unique about this greenhouse.”
“Okay?”
The butler opened a large glass door on one wall. Outside was a cool winter garden. The butler placed his hand on the inside of the glass door and turned it to check the other side. She really couldn’t see her hand on the other side of the glass. It turned out that these windows were glass on one side and mirrors on the other.
“Oh my, that’s amazing.”
“I know.”
Glass windows like this were common in the world she lived in, but they must be rare here.
The entire greenhouse could be seen from the inside, but the inside could not be seen from the outside. The entire outside of the greenhouse was a garden, so the surrounding garden will be reflected in the mirror on the outside. If you looked at it from a distance, you would pass by without knowing it was a mirror. A glass greenhouse where you couldn’t see what’s going on inside.
‘It seems like a hidden secret space.’
It looks like it would be used as a secret meeting place in the movie. Perhaps this place was actually created for that purpose? Suddenly she remembered that this greenhouse was not in the blueprint the butler showed her earlier. Was it a secret place that only family members knew about? She was sure there were quite a few secret spaces other than here that weren’t on the blueprint.
‘If I live here, I will come alone sometimes and spend time quietly.’
After finishing touring the greenhouse, they went back the way they came. When she returned and looked around again, she saw that the greenhouse was located deep into the garden past the main building of the mansion. So it wasn’t noticeable in the main building. While thinking about that, she was entering the hallway when she heard a soft voice next to her.
“I was really surprised.”
“Why?”
When she turned around, Sorel answered with a smile as bright as a flower.
“I heard that my sister was getting along with His Highness the Grand Duke, but I couldn’t believe it.”
“We naturally became closer because we were getting married, right?”
“To put it that way, it seems like His Highness likes my sister very much.”
Sorel laughed quietly. Her sweet laughter rang sweetly throughout the greenhouse.

Mmm idk but I feel like Sorel IS evil… her way of acting is just to suspicious that I cannot think otherwise 🤔🤷🏻♀️
yeah I don’t like her… definitely giving white lotus vibes
Yeah i agree, her movement is clearly suspicious.
Thank you♡
I would like this Sorel to be inlove with Terrence thinking that she can seduce him with her beautiful appearance but only to get slapped in the face with his indifferent atittude. Our Terrence has only eyes for our Eve right? Huehuehue.
