“That’s right. It’s our place, we are not buying anything.”
‘Tsk tsk.’
The Grand Duke’s youngest siblings seemed as stupid as Gerald. If you wear expensive clothes and say things like that, who will believe you?
“I’m not asking you to buy it. I got lost in the woods.”
Then Luna wordlessly pointed the way to the village with her hand. That’s why she’s not cute.
“Ah, my back hurts so much after wandering around for a long time.”
Regina tapped her leg and leaned against her fence. It wasn’t a lie, it was the truth. In the meantime, she lived only in the palace and had never walked for more than an hour. With such a body, she had to come here from the Holy See at the top of the mountain, not by carriage, but by mule, so her whole body hurted. She came out of the palace on the pretext that she was going to pray at the Holy See. Then she pretended to shut herself up in her room even at the Vatican to offer her prayers, evading her maid and her escort. Thinking that she would like to go back quickly and be served by her ladies-in-waiting, she let out a deep sigh, but Luna, who was staring at her from behind the fence, shouted.
“It’s okay to rest there. You can’t come in.”
The children stood at the door and glared at her, rather than running into the cabin, as if they were less alert now. It was like a guard dog. According to the intelligence, there really was a watchdog in the witch’s hut. Not only the dog, but even the cat annoyed her and sniffed.
“Oh my, these are really pretty children.”
She wanted to kick them, but she couldn’t break the children’s vigilance.
“Are you thirsty?”
“Huh?”
Before Regina could say anything, Luca went inside the cabin and brought her a cup of tea.
‘This guy is more sociable than my older brother.’
However, Regina pretended to drink her tea and the moment no one was looking she poured it into the bush and threw it away.
“Thank you.”
When she returned the empty glass, Luca laughed. He’s already out of bounds.
‘These guys haven’t seen me very often, so they don’t recognize me.’
Of course, it might have been because she was wearing a hood and covering half of her face with a cloth.
‘The time has come.’
Regina sat down on a tree stump and spread the package on the floor.
“You gave me the glass, so in return, I’ll give you one of the things I sell.”
She succeeded in stimulating children’s curiosity. The guys exchanged glances with each other and came to the fence to take a closer look. The package contained countless miscellaneous items. All were smeared with or soaked in her mother’s potion. She used up all the potions she had in her desperate heart, hoping that at least one would work.
“Look at this apple.”
Regina picked up an apple that was so red that it even looked dark red and held it out to Luna. A potion of eternal sleep was buried here.
“Isn’t it really appetizing?”
“Sorry. There are many of these at home.”
She refused with her single nod. Apparently, like Regina, she was taught not to eat anything given to her by people she didn’t trust.
“No. This is for sale.”
Unexpectedly, the cat ran to eat the apple. It’s already useless, so there’s nothing wrong with giving it, but it would be a big deal if the cat suddenly collapsed after eating it. If it did, the guys would notice. Fortunately, when the dog pawed the cat, Regina tucked the apple deep into her sleeve and picked up the next thing.
“This balm removes wrinkles and moisturizes the skin.”
They would become a frog
“Do you want to paint?”
“No.”
Children who had not yet reached puberty seemed to have no interest in taking care of their appearance. After all of this failed, Regina took one last bottle of perfume.
“Try to smell the incense.”
Regina sprayed perfume on the boys’ faces without giving them time to respond.
“The song comes out on its own.”
They would become a lark.
“Omg!”
Instead of a voice, a chirping sound came out of Luna’s mouth.
‘No.’
As the two children, instantly transformed into larks, tried to flee towards the cabin, Regina reached over her fence and snatched them.
“Kyung-Kyung!”
“Nyangnyang!”
The animals jumped over her fence and took her down. Regina packed the writhing little ones in her hands and drew a dagger from her waistband. She threatened the animals that attacked her with her sword, and then climbed onto the mule tied to the other side of the creek. Regina, who had succeeded in overthrowing the relentless pursuers, grinned as she felt the rumbling of the pack on her back. She hadn’t intended to bring a boy, but she didn’t mean to be there. After all, the fewer children she had in her line of succession to the throne, the better for her.
“Boy, don’t worry. I’ll buy you a cage.”
She couldn’t keep his sister alive just in case, but she would keep him alive and cherish him.
The mule’s hooves and evil laughter echoed through the silent woods.

“Is there anything softer?”
“Where are you going to write it?”
While Hazel was talking to the owner of the leather workshop, Elliot’s gaze was on her hand. It was her hand that Hazel naturally placed as she entered the studio.
“Should I tell Luna the truth? I’m sorry for lying.”
When Hazel said that in the cabin, Elliot said to himself:
‘If you’re sorry for lying, should you really go out with me?’
But Hazel seemed far from opening her heart to him. At the teahouse, he was curious about a person named Hazel and asked her about it, and she seemed to think he was an interrogator. She was on her way so he asked and he just listened. She seemed to be worried about revealing her true identity. What the hell was going on?
“Oh right.”
Hazel, who was looking at her monster skin, suddenly clapped her hands and turned around, and Elliot fixed his eyes. Hazel glanced toward the master’s warehouse and whispered close enough to him that he could feel her body.
“I learned about the venom of man-eating bees. When poisoned, it almost died suddenly, so there were not many records about the aftereffects. Most of the brain or nerve side effects remain, but His Highness is fine.”
It was thanks to his holy power that the poison was neutralized.
“But there were no stories of infertility.”
The moment Hazel added, her eyes widened as if Elliot was poisoned. Could it be that she was worried about that and suggested a love affair with her disguise? He couldn’t show that he’s healthy.
While he was unhappy, Hazel bought some of his hides and tried to leave.
“Wait a moment.”
Elliot led her to the shelf where her finished product was placed. A slight scuffle ensued between him, who said she would buy her a present, and Hazel, who said it was fine. At first, the owner’s eyes widened as he looked at the two with unbelievable eyes.
“Do it with this. It goes well with Miss Hazel’s eyes.”
Passing her green bracelet and choker to the master, Elliot also picked up a pair of red shoes from the shelf below her.
“How about this?”
“It is expensive.”
“What do you think of the Grand Duke?”
Elliot rolled his eyes slightly and lowered his upper body. He tried to try on the right size, but Hazel wouldn’t give him a foot, and then she said something like this.
“You know what? If you buy shoes for your lover, they say she will run away wearing them.”
At that moment, the shoes were returned to the shelf.
On the way out of her studio, Elliot’s gaze was on Hazel’s hand again. If this relationship had been fake for him too, he would have held that hand casually, saying that this was an official mission.
‘Hazel will be fine.’
After hesitating dozens of times, he tried to muster up the courage to grab her hand that occasionally brushed by as he walked. Hazel stood tall.
“Take this guy.”
From the butcher’s shop where the two stopped, a woman’s cry and the sound of a bird flapping its wings viciously leaked out.
“He’s a very mean guy who doesn’t even sing. Dinner or pork.”
A bird wriggled out of the woman’s hand, with only her back visible.
“Doesn’t the plump one look very appetizing?”
It was the time when the bird screamed, not a chirp, but a squawk, as if the bird had understood it.
“Omg! Luna! Luca!”
Hazel called his siblings by name out of nowhere and snapped her fingers. As soon as the lark in her hand and the one in the cage were both in Hazel’s hands, the woman turned around.
“The princess?”
Even when Elliot looked into her eyes, she recognized the princess at once. At that moment he understood everything and he drew his sword.
“At there!”
Soon the chase began. Regina slipped out the back door of the butcher’s and ran down the alley. She was a red-handed criminal, so there would be no mercy. If she was caught like this, she would become a dumber human being than Gerald and would be completely out of sight of her father. Her steps, trying to save herself running, but her situation reached its worst as the dog and cat, who followed her belatedly, joined in her pursuit. Eventually she was driven to a dead end. From afar, she heard the sound of the ones chasing her. It was only a matter of time before they found this place.
There’s no way anymore. Regina pulled out her last resort. She was homesick.
Soon after Regina disappeared, a lark flew up. It was the beginning of her ordeal.
