Fair Play 2

Fair Play

Chapter 2.

“Wait…!”

Kwon Heedo pounced as if he’d been waiting for this moment. He pushed Eunseol down onto the creaking old mattress and immediately began peeling off her soaked stockings.

“Just… wait.”

Caught off guard by the sudden escalation, Eunseol grabbed Heedo’s wrist in panic.

“Is this Kang Taesoo’s preference?”

It didn’t seem likely. Though cold and reticent, Kang Taesoo seemed far more refined. Not that bedroom habits were any guarantee, but he didn’t strike her as the type to pounce on someone drenched without warning.

“Who knows.”

Heedo gave a noncommittal answer before upending the bag he’d brought—supposedly containing hangover remedies—sending condom boxes scattering across the bed.

“What the hell—”

Are you actually insane?

“…You plan to use all these?”

“Waste not, want not. You like being frugal, don’t you?” Heedo chuckled as he undid his shirt buttons. This wasn’t frugality—it was a death sentence.

“Slow down…”

Eunseol gripped his arm, brow furrowed.

“…I said I get it…”

“Yeah.”

“It’s my first—”

The rest of her rushed confession was cut short.

White-hot pain split her vision. Her fingers stiffened, spine locking as her entire body seized.

“Ah. Sorry.”

Half-regaining his composure, Heedo swept back his hair.

“Didn’t realize I was dealing with a virgin.”

Her hips felt impaled on a red-hot stake. The excruciating pain only worsened with each movement, offering no chance to adjust.

“Not sure how to apologize for this.”

He murmured the words with all the sincerity of a cat toying with its prey.

“You were saving yourself on purpose?”

“Just… never had time to date.”

Her trembling hands clutched the sheets, trying desperately to distract from the onslaught of sensation. Unanticipated stimulation made her eyes burn.

“Just… tell me Taesoo’s preferences.”

She turned her head away. If she was enduring this, it was ultimately for Kang Taesoo’s sake.

“Let me share mine first.”

I don’t need that.

Before she could refuse, Heedo bent close, teeth grazing her earlobe.

“Preparation has its charms…”

“…Hah…”

“But I prefer feeling you tighten around me…”

“…Ngh…”

“Watching you unravel in real time is… vivid.”

You fucking pervert.

He licked the tears from her ear upward, kissing each eyelid until no moisture remained before trailing down her nose, jaw, and neck.

“Ah, loosening up.”

Insane.

“Feel that?”

He pushed deeper, the relentless pressure offering no reprieve.

Amidst the horror, something unfamiliar stirred. Pain blurred into unwelcome pleasure, her legs tensing involuntarily.

She wanted to move but didn’t know how. Her body burned with borrowed heat.

Just stick to the script—

As if reading her mind, Heedo began a slow rhythm. The wet friction built steadily.

Each thrust blurred her thoughts further.

Just as the intensity bordered on unbearable—

“Ah—”

Something hollow inside her flooded full. Her mind and body split apart.

“…Stop.”

But Heedo showed no signs of halting. She’d lose herself completely at this rate.

A treacherous thought surfaced: she might drown in him instead.

“Will this even work?”

“Ha…”

“Try harder if you want Taesoo.”

She clenched her fists, choking back sobs.

“…One time. Only this once…”

If this could buy Heedo’s silence.

“Don’t come begging for more later.”

His light laugh preceded hands gripping her waist.

The morning after rain was said to be beautiful. For Eunseol, it was devastation.

Her stretched cardigan hung buttonless. The single work skirt she rotated daily was nowhere to be found.

[Who’s being devoured here?]
[Hng—]
[Relax.]
[Ugh—]
[The pain’s over.]

She’d muffled moans all night in the thin-walled attic, climaxes uncountable. Through it all, one thought sustained her: she couldn’t be evicted.

By dawn, she’d abandoned reason entirely, echoing Heedo’s filth between sobs. The storm’s thunder had been a merciful cover.

[Taesoo…]

With fading consciousness, she gasped:

[Keep… your promise.]

Heedo finally shed his shirt, revealing slick muscle and boulder-like shoulders.

The rest was fragments.

Beside her, the trash bin overflowed with emptied condom boxes.

You used them all, you madman.

Delayed agony radiated from her hips. Of all people to be entangled with.

One misstep, and this was the price.

Outside, the cleared sky mocked last night’s downpour.

In the bathroom, her body felt incongruously clean. Familiar body wash lingered—or was that imagination?

She sniffed her raised arm, then shook her head.

Kwon Heedo wasn’t the type for aftercare. Had he been, he wouldn’t have left her this wrecked.

The mirror reflected a body blooming with hickeys like childhood measles. His preferences needed no explanation.

“Tch.”

She cranked the shower, chasing away the haze.

A rare early morning.

Eunseol hauled out the trash, rubbing her sore shoulders.

Rainwater still pooled on the cracked cement.

Seven months at Saegang SDI.

Three years of hustling through any department’s interviews had landed her here—yet Taesoo remained elusive.

Even as teammates, their interactions were nil. As a high-ranking team leader, he scarcely visited the office.

[Hello…]

The man who’d brushed past without acknowledgment left only icy air in his wake.

[Name: Kang Taesoo. Age: 32. Father: Kang Jae-kyung (Saegang heir). Only son. Unmarried. Workaholic. Frugal.]

Her notebook held pitifully little.

She needed a more memorable encounter.

The plan was classic:

Clutching a carefully cooled coffee, she palmed the high-floor access card she’d scrounged up.

[That method’s outdated.]

Enter Kwon Heedo, ruining everything.

[This is Heedo Kwon, new to PR. Play nice.]

His half-hearted wave and lazy smile made her grit her teeth.

Instinct screamed: wrong move.

That playboy face. Bored demeanor. Eyes chillingly alert beneath languid lids—like a predator spotting fresh prey.
