Don't Be Obsessed With An Extra

Michael, dressed in a hunting suit, stood behind her.

“You look presentable.”

“Thank you.”

“The inspection is done, are you ready?”

Michael looked at Rien and Lili and asked, and they answered that they were done.

But Priscilla still had a pouting expression.

“I’m not even going to a party, what’s with the dress?”

“You’re going with me, so you have to dress beautifully.”

“I know. Why do I have to go with Your Majesty?”

“The complaints continue, when you’re done, get up. We have to get going.”

“There is a condition before we leave.”

“Condition?”

Michael looked at Priscilla as if she wasn’t sane.

“Isn’t that what you’re taking me to the hunting festival for?”

“So what?”

“You have to pay the price.”

“Price?”

“Yes, the price of using me. There’s no such thing as a free lunch.”

Michael smiled admirably at her boldness.

“Is there anything you want?”

“Give me money.”

“You want money?”

“Yes. Money.”

Priscilla made a round shape by attaching her thumb and index finger and showed it to Michael.

Michael laughed when he saw it.

“How much do you want?”

“The more, the better, but at your discretion.”

“You’re so…”

As Priscilla looked at him with her eyes wide open, Michael replied with a countenance.

“Okay. I’ll give it to you when the hunting festival is over.”

Priscilla took out the prepared documents and held them out.

The document was a contract stating that he had to pay money in exchange for using her.

“Sign here.”

“What is this?”

“I don’t believe in verbal promises.”

Michael laughed even louder when he saw the document.

“Hahahaha.”

Michael stopped his laughter, looked at Priscilla and signed the document.

“Is that enough?”

“That’s enough.”

“Then, get up quickly.”

“Yes.”

Priscilla packed the papers and got up in front of the dressing table. Then Michael turned his back.

Priscilla followed him out of the palace.

But as soon as she left the palace, Priscilla hardened.

It was because of the golden carriage in front of her.

It wasn’t like she was on a trip to somewhere nice, so why a golden carriage to a hunting festival?

“Is this the carriage we’re going to ride?”

“Yes.”

The word “crazy” almost popped out of her mouth.

“You ride a golden carriage to the hunting festival?”

“Yes, it is an honor.”

You like glory.

If she rode this, she would definitely stand out.

Priscilla turned around.

“I don’t want to ride it.”

“Get in.”

“I don’t want to.”

“You’d better get on.”

“What if I don’t get on?”

“You will ride in a carriage that is more splendid and magnificent than this.”

“Is there anything more fancy than this?”

Michael smiled proudly.

“There is a carriage with thousands of diamonds.”

Priscilla’s mouth fell open. That was a lot of money.

“If you want to, let’s ride it.”

“All right. I’ll get on.”

“From now on, don’t say no in front of me, so I’m only letting it go this time.”

Priscilla pursed her lips and climbed into the carriage.

Then the Emperor sat opposite her.

“Relax your expression. Why aren’t you enjoying it? People will think I’m bothering you.”

“You’re bothering me.”

“Did you feel that way?”

“Yes.”

“Then, let’s do it like that.”

Priscilla sighed and turned her head.

The carriage set off.

The carriage raced out of the palace.

Priscilla never looked at Michael throughout the carriage ride.

However, Michael’s eyes persistently followed Priscilla.

From her head to her toes.

The hunting festival was held twice a year in spring and autumn.

This time it was a hunting festival held in autumn.

In autumn, animals also gained fat and had a lot to eat when hunting.

All the nobles who would attend the hunting festival had already gathered, and the princesses from the Concubine Palace had also come out in a carriage given by the Emperor.

Only the Emperor had not arrived yet.

They were all waiting for the Emperor to come.

And at last a carriage with the Emperor appeared.

“Here he is.”

The nobles and Princesses admired the approaching golden carriage from afar.

“I heard that His Majesty would come by carriage this time, and it’s true.”

“In addition, the number of knights seems to have increased significantly.”

When the hunting festival was held, the Emperor rode a horse and attended with minimal escort.

But this time it was different.

A large escort to a golden carriage.

At the sight, Jestina gritted her teeth.

‘That was supposed to be my seat.’

It was taken away.

To a lesser being than herself.

At last the carriage arrived. And everyone’s eyes were on it.

Michael got out of the carriage first, followed by Priscilla holding his hand.

The pouring gaze on Priscilla was very burdensome. Then Michael wrapped her in his arms and patted her.

Of course, it was all a play.

“Smile.”

Priscilla forced herself to laugh at Michael’s whisper.

“That’s enough.”

“Smile more broadly.”

“Yes.”

Priscilla smiled broadly as she was told.

Michael, along with Priscilla, received greetings from the nobles and went into the imperial barracks with only Priscilla, ignoring the princesses of the palace.

The appearance surprised the nobles.

“I don’t know who that is, but she’s really beautiful. She’s worthy of adorning His Majesty’s side.”

Naturally, their eyes turned to the princesses from the Concubine Palace.

Compared to Priscilla, they were like bridesmaids.

“What are you looking at?”

When Jestina snapped, the nobles turned their heads.

“Let’s go.”

Jestina headed to the barracks assigned to her with the princesses who came with her.

As soon as the princesses turned around, they found fault in Priscilla.

“I don’t know why His Majesty likes the princess abandoned by her country.”

“I know. All she has is a pretty face.”

Jestina looked at them and laughed.

“Because she’s pretty, His Majesty likes her. If you were prettier than Priscilla, the seat next to His Majesty would be yours.”

The princesses shut their mouths.

Then a princess confronted Jestina.

“Come to think of it, the world is fair. Lady Jestina has both money and power, but she is less beautiful than Lady Priscilla.”

Jestina glared at her.

Then she rolled up the corners of her mouth.

“At least I’m prettier than you.”

Then Jestina rose from her seat.

“It seems like the standards are increasing because I’m here. I’ll have to ask for a separate barrack. So you guys can have a low-quality conversation here.”

When Jestina left the barracks with a cold wind, the remaining princesses looked at her with disapproving eyes.

“I can’t look at her because her eyes are so cold.”

“I know. No matter how great the Bugatti Kingdom is, it’s the same back room.* I don’t know what’s so great.”

*TN: Kingdoms are the same everywhere in the end

“That’s right. You don’t know how much I hate seeing her walking around the Concubine Palace. She’s acting like she’s the Empress?”

“Ignore her. If we don’t, we only lose.”

“That’s right. Do you avoid poop because you’re afraid of it? You avoid it because it’s dirty.”

“That’s true.”

Even after that, the princesses continued to gossip, perhaps trying to relieve their stress.

Of course, Jestina, who left the barracks, grounded her teeth.

“I can’t believe that all the useless things are talking.”

Jestina snorted and visited the noble who was in charge of everything at the hunting festival.

The Grand Duke Robiche was in charge of the hunting festival, and Duke Fabian prepared everything on behalf of his father.

When she visited Robiche’s barracks, Chris was there with her.

Chris winked at Jestina.

Jestina ignored him and looked at Robiche.

“What brings you here?”

Jestina frowned at the way the cold air dripped.

This was because it was difficult to deal with Robiche, the Grand Duke of Fabien.

“Give me a separate barrack.”

“His Majesty has ordered all the princesses of the palace to use one barrack.”

“So you’re saying no?”

“If you come with His Majesty’s permission, I will give it to you.”

Jestina glared at Robiche.

“Do I have to do this for just one barrack?”

“I cannot give you even a single barrack without His Majesty’s permission. Isn’t that what you’re saying to disobey His Majesty’s orders?”

There was a spark between the two.

Then Chris intervened.

“Brother, do you need to be so hard? Just give her one. You can ask His Majesty later for permission.”

“This is no place for you to step in.”

Robiche looked at Jestina again.

“Please get your permission.”

Jestina clenched her fist.

“Fine. I’ll get it. You don’t think I can get it. Hah!”

Jestina stormed out of the barracks, followed by Chris.

“Princess Jestina.”

“What now?”

“What’s the matter, of course it’s because of our deal. I saw Princess Priscilla today and she was really beautiful.”

Jestina saw the lust in his eyes.

“The most beautiful princess in the Concubine Palace, of course.”

Chris already felt his heart pounding.

“Don’t be so hasty. I’ll let you know at the right time.”

“I’ll be waiting.”

“Don’t mess things up.”

“It’s not something I’ve done once or twice, but it’s my specialty.”

“Don’t be conceited that you will succeed again this time just because you succeed every time. Then if things go wrong, I’ll pretend not to know the young master.”

“You don’t have to worry.”

“Anyway, wait. You have to be careful.”

“Well, I’ll trust you and wait.”

Jestina, separated from Chris, looked at the Emperor’s barracks with an annoyed face.

Since the Emperor and Priscilla entered, they haven’t even been seen blowing their nose.

‘Enjoy the day to the fullest.’
