Dominating the Love of the Villains

CHAPTER 001

The castle was in chaos. Flames engulfed the forest around the castle. The origin of the fire was the castle, Roberti Castle.

“I set it on fire.”

“…Lord Seong.”

“The dream said to do this.”

“It’s a dream…”

“I don’t know anymore. I never thought I would get lost at this age.”

After killing all the servants who tried to escape from the flames spreading throughout the castle, Bled Howl Roberti, holding a sword that was not originally red, blocked her path. The lord of the Southern Castle and the father of Sophia Beni on the list. However, the man who had never given her the last name Roberti or even allowed her to call her father looked down at her with his grave eyes as always. Those yellow eyes, which were either like the moon or like those of a hungry animal, were something Sophia had always hated. Because death was always waiting whenever those eyes turned towards you.

“I’m not even allowed to run away, am I?”

“This is the only path I have allowed you.”

The blood-stained sword drew an elegant line and pointed next to her. It was a passage with a side road leading out of the castle. Sophia, who had followed the sword, looked back at Bled with an expression of disbelief. Ah, that path was not the path given to save one’s life.

“Walk.”

“Really, you… You are planning to kill me.”

At the end of that road, there will be two brothers who lived to kill their only brother, with whom they are not related by blood. Brothers with the same mother, the same blood, and the same face. Bled walked down the street and went out without responding to Sophia’s words. Sophia hesitated for a moment. Even if it is not that way, there is another way. But whichever she chooses, she will die. Bled knew that he would die if he went down another road, so he crossed that road first. All other exits were blocked. There was only one road leading outside.

She knew. She knew everything. What would happen to her later, and what consequences await her on the many paths she did not take.

“Because I walked all those paths… shit!”

Sophia walked the path her father permitted. She walked along the path in vain, without a single light illuminating her path. What appeared in front of Sophia were the brothers blocking her path, turning their backs on the outside world visible beyond the door. Benjamin Chase Roberti, Joshua Chase Roberti. And Bled stands tall behind them.

He had hair as white as snow and yellow eyes that only she could not inherit, shining beautifully under the sunset sky. It might not have been a sunset, but a rising fire that had engulfed the sky. The eyes appear hollow, but they were probably filled with hatred and appear blind.

‘Is this a failure again?’

She didn’t want to think that way, so she shouted for the last time to show her emotions. Very loudly and by a name she had never called before.

“Father! Brothers! Stop it now. This isn’t right…”

The moment she was about to open her lips again for the next word, Benjamin’s sword was thrust close to Sophia’s neck.

“Sophia.”

‘How dare you call me friendly, how dare you vent about this, how dare, how dare.’

Their cold gaze clung to her with the force of tearing her skin. The golden eyes that looked exactly like her except for hers shone coldly in front of the ruined castle. One more word, and if she tried to finish her sentence, his sword would cut off Sophia’s head without hesitation. No matter what she did, Sophia Benny will die without ever leaving the castle in her entire life.

“Ha… haha.”

Sophia’s tears stopped as she cried sadly towards those who were blocking her from leaving the castle. The expression changed. A world that was broken and ruined anyway, a world that would return anyway. Sophia Benny smiled slightly. The smile slowly grew bigger and she just laughed like a crazy person. Soon her laughter stopped and a cold sigh escaped her.

“It’s annoying, really. You can’t do anything. These damn things really…”

Dark purple eyes, covered not with tears but with anger, turned back to her brother, who looked like he was about to slit his own head at any moment. Next to it, there is another one that looks the same. Twin brothers. Things were doubly unlucky because there were two of them.

“Live your life the right way, you fucking bastards!”

As soon as she screamed at the top of her lungs, Sophia’s eyes flew open. She could feel her beating heart and the cold sweat that covered her entire body. It’s quiet outside. As if that wasn’t enough, she could even hear birds chirping peacefully. The world outside the window was blue, and there was no flame engulfing everything. Sophia took her gaze from the window and looked at her body. Her tiny body held in her tiny hands. Hair that was well attached. After checking it she lay down on the bed again. She came back again. 12 years old, the day before her birthday. Her fourth life began again.

“…it’s annoying.”

She died three times and came back. No matter how hard she tried to survive during those countless opportunities, she couldn’t change her future. It’s strange that she didn’t go crazy, but strangely enough, her mind was always clear. It was as if this was so natural that her body and mind had already accepted it.

“I will not.”

No matter what happened, she wouldn’t do anything for them in this life. She was exhausted now, and no matter what she did, she was going to die at age 21. In that case, it would have been better to live her life by holding on to things that could not be reformed. Sophia Benny chose to give them up. This was the path that Sophia had never walked before, and it was the most comfortable path. Sophia pulled her blanket all the way up to her head and curled herself up in it. Just as she was about to forget how to use her legs and not move, the door opened and two people’s footsteps were heard.

“Miss.”

“…”

“It’s time to wake up.”

At the sound of the bell ringing and waking her up, Sophia pulled down the blanket again, raised her upper body, and leaned against her bedside. Then, a face she hadn’t seen in a very long time was smiling at her.

“…Loray.”

“What are you going to say that I woke you up when you didn’t sleep enough?”

“…huh. I am a growing child.”

“Yes. So, you made sure to get 9 hours of sleep.”

With her gray hair pulled back into a neat ponytail, she did not look old. She didn’t even appear to be ill. She grunted playfully at the woman, who was in her mid-30s and looked like she was at her healthiest. This morning, which she had repeated a total of four times so far, was her favorite moment of her entire life. A normal conversation, as if coming back from the dead and telling everyone that everything that happened before was a dream. How could she not like it?

“So you need to wake up quickly, lady.”

Loray, passing off the child’s grunts with a light laugh, placed her bell on the nightstand. Sophia’s servant, Loray Merkle, gently smoothed out her light purple hair, which had become matted as she lay there. The good thing about going back was this. Being able to meet again someone who died before her. Sophia had finished washing her face with the wash Loray had prepared and was patting her face with her towel when Loray held something out in front of her.

“This is a list of gifts prepared by the Lord of Seong. Which do you want most?”

A booklet put together as a candidate for her birthday gift. Passing her towel to her servant, Sophia glanced at it. What was Seong preparing? Bled probably didn’t even know her birthday. If Sofia chose an item she wanted, the servants and servants who cared for Sofia, including Loray, would pool their money and buy the gift. The reason Seong prepared it was because he didn’t want young Sophia to hate her father, who never saw her face.

She didn’t know why, but people around her hoped that she wouldn’t hate Seong. But unfortunately for her, she had already come to hate it. Not wanting her to spend money on her useless birthday, Sophia swept her hands and put her booklet back.

“There is no one.”

“Oh, lady?”

After a short reply, she crawled back into bed.

“I do not need.”

“But, miss, it’s a birthday present…”

“Get out. I’ll eat later.”

Loray, who was quietly watching Sophia who had gone under the blanket and had no intention of coming out, let out a small breath and lightly stroked the area where her head would be.

“Don’t hate the Lord of the castle too much. He cares so much for her that he cannot come to see her for fear that she might be hurt by her little strength.”

Loray said that and left the room with his attendant. In the quiet room with no one around, Sophia curled her body even more. She said she didn’t come to see her because she was afraid she would get hurt. Honestly, she didn’t really know what that meant. This was definitely not the way to protect it. It’s about leaving it alone.

‘Bled…’

Until her mother’s death, it was Sophia who spent the most time with Bled, but her memories of that time had already faded. She was from 12 to 21 years old. As she relived those long moments, her memories from before she was twelve barely lingered in her mind anymore. But she knew then that Bled cared about her. Because there was someone who died because of his love for Sofia, her mother, and Benny. Chase Ceviche Roberti. She was the mother of Benjamin and Joshua, and she was the one who died a lonely death trapped in the spire. Now that she thought about it, today was the anniversary of Chase’s death. Her thoughts continued, and when she reached that point, her memory from one day came to mind.

‘Would you like us if we told you that my mother killed your mother?’

‘How could we like the daughter of the man who killed our mother?’

‘Oh, I feel nauseous.’

It was like remembering again the taste of poison that had passed down her throat that day.
