Developing Superpowers in Another World

Compressed Ant Biscuit

Chapter 97 – Compressed Ant Biscuit

Before the swarm of aliens could react, they had already slammed shut the door of the sixth carriage.

At the same time, Xie Xu retreated to the eighth carriage and closed the door.

With this coordinated effort, more than half of the aliens were trapped in the seventh and sixth carriages.

They couldn’t understand why their prey had suddenly escaped, and they angrily smashed their bodies against the glass, with thick blood smearing the transparent surface, creating a horrifying scene.

Of course, not all the aliens in the fourth, fifth, and sixth carriages were trapped. Some of them, not fast enough to squeeze into the sixth carriage, were left confused in the fifth carriage.

The sudden appearance of a delicious prey excited them, and they quickly pounced towards it.

The five repeated their earlier actions.

Lure, retreat, close the door.

The three actions were done in one seamless motion.

Only a few aliens remained in the fourth carriage.

The door between the fourth and third carriages was closed.

Through the transparent glass, Tu Ran saw the scene in the third carriage.

Her scalp tingled.

The aliens inside were densely packed, almost all of them pressed together, giving the impression of billions of ants compressed into a cube-shaped biscuit.

They were all facing the second carriage. The second carriage, full of survivors, was like a delicious feast attracting them.

Some of the aliens had already noticed their approach from the rear.

They turned and charged towards them.

But they collided with the transparent glass door.

The “bang bang bang” sound of the impacts made Tu Ran worry that the door wouldn’t hold.

The current situation in the second carriage was unknown to Tu Ran and the others.

If they opened the carriage door and killed them one by one, they didn’t know how long it would take.

They didn’t have much time left.

The people in the second carriage couldn’t hold out for much longer.

Moreover, the once dense gunfire from the second carriage had become sporadic.

Their bullets were likely nearly exhausted.

After the battles along the way, the remaining ammunition of Tu Ran’s team was also running low.

Now, their main fighting force consisted only of the burly man and the woman wielding a curved blade.

After the two men with machine guns fired their last bullets, they gripped the barrels and used the gun stocks as crude, blunt weapons to smash the aliens’ heads.

Such brute force couldn’t kill the aliens outright. Repeated blows merely turned them into bloody messes, limiting their movements. Their hands could still move, and their teeth remained sharp enough to bite.

The burly man decapitated another alien, and its head rolled to Tu Ran’s feet.

Tu Ran looked down and saw that its eyes were still open, and it could even open its mouth, ready to bite her foot.

She lifted her leg and kicked it away, sending it crashing into another alien’s head.

The alien who was hit immediately turned its attention to Tu Ran and rushed towards her with outstretched claws.

Tu Ran clenched her fists and gripped the dagger Xie Xu had given her.

However, just as the alien was about to reach her, the burly man sliced it in half.

Blood sprayed all over her.

The burly man shouted at her, “Get back and stay out of the way!”

Tu Ran replied, “I’m a pioneer.”

“I don’t care what you are, just get back!”

Tu Ran wondered what the point was of her joining this team.

The burly man angrily split the last alien creature in the carriage from top to bottom, cutting its entire body in half.

The aliens in this carriage were eliminated.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, wiped their sweat, and stretched their stiff limbs.

They could rest for a while.
