Death Train

Chapter 102 – Death Train

The burly man standing next to Tu Ran couldn’t help but praise her, “Xiao Tu, you’re quite clever.”

Tu Ran gestured for him to lower his voice.

The burly man immediately covered his mouth with both hands.

Tu Ran looked down to check the time.

Mitney Square was about to arrive.

She felt the train slowing down beneath her feet.

Through the glass on both sides, she saw the bright lights of Mitney Square, as bright as daylight, with barricades isolating the entire square.

Usually bustling at this time, Mitney Square was now silent.

The train’s speed continued to decrease, and Tu Ran saw three mech vehicles.

As they moved further, Tu Ran saw a fully equipped team composed of Executive Department guards and pioneers.

They carried firearms and surrounded Mitney Square in a circle.

Their guns were aimed at the train.

The scenery outside the windows stopped moving.

The train finally came to a halt.

Some carriages began to shake.

Because the aliens saw humans.

They started frantically hitting the glass.

The guards and pioneers surrounding the outside, already prepared, felt their scalps tingle at the sight of the densely packed aliens clinging to the windows.

They had been ready to get off work, some even on vacation.

But suddenly, they received a red emergency alert from the Federal Government.

Infectious aliens had appeared, capable of infecting humans through wounds, with extremely rapid transmission and mutation speeds.

And this infectious alien had appeared on a train.

Moreover, this train was the busiest route in the Federation.

The Federation Government notified all pioneers on vacation to rush to the Federation Center within half an hour, prepare their gear, and head to Mitney Square immediately.

The Executive Department guards, about to get off work, were also forced to work overtime due to the unexpected situation.

At this final stop, they needed to eliminate all the aliens on this death train.

None could be missed.

On the outermost perimeter of the Mitney Square encirclement, there was an emergency group temporarily formed by the Medical Department, waiting.

They were to carefully screen the survivors to ensure no aliens slipped through.

Inside the carriages, the broadcast system activated.

The broadcast had been switched back from Xie Xu’s communicator to the Federal Government’s control.

“We are now opening carriages two, three, four, five, six, and seven. We will conduct indiscriminate shooting of the aliens. Survivors hiding in these six carriages, please do not come out. Repeating, survivors hiding in these six carriages, please do not come out.”

With the broadcast over, the doors of these six carriages opened simultaneously.

The aliens immediately found an exit and swarmed out.

They thought they were heading towards a feast but had no idea what awaited them.

The moment the first alien stepped out of the carriage, the first gunshot rang out.

In the empty square, the sound of the gunshot was particularly heart-stirring.

The previously silent Mitney Square erupted into chaos.

Gunfire exploded, echoing one after another.

Countless bullets were aimed at the emerging aliens, piercing their bodies and riddling them with holes.

Blood splattered and flew, aliens howled and struggled.

Even after falling, they still tried to crawl forward.

Each one ran into the barrage of bullets.

But they all fell halfway.

The bodies piled up more and more, quickly covering half of the square’s lawn.

The number of aliens emerging from the carriages gradually decreased.

After half an hour, there were none left.

The pioneers and the Executive Department immediately divided into six squads to search the carriages.

They captured three aliens trapped in the restrooms.

After ensuring there were no other missed aliens in the carriages, the broadcast system activated again.
