Chapter 15
I heard a voice calling for me, softly and sweetly.
“… … .”
Diana looked up blankly at the face of the man who was holding her back and waist. The man who had been so persistent and vicious in his bed was so sweet and gentle when he waited on her that she was once again afraid.
It was none other than Edmund who personally washed and changed her clothes, which were covered in all sorts of bodily fluids the night before.
When she came to, she was in a large bathtub, and Edmund was slowly washing her body while holding her from behind. All she remembered was feeling his hands running over her body as she surrendered to him like a doll.
The touch was so delicate and soft, like handling fragile porcelain, that it was hard to believe that it was the person who had been pushing herself so fiercely in bed just a moment ago.
And this is what it looks like now.
“You need to eat something to cheer you up.”
A large hand covered her slender stomach. It wasn’t that she wasn’t hungry, but she didn’t have the strength to even lift a spoon right now.
A fragrant smell from somewhere stimulated my salivary glands, but that was all it took. How can I eat when I don’t even have the energy to sit up? Moreover, the person who put her body in this condition was none other than the man who lovingly took care of her meals.
“I don’t want to eat… … .”
Diana answered softly, burying her face in the cushion. It just didn’t seem like anything was going to go away. If only he had just left her alone. After tormenting her all this time, please…
Diana curled up further into the blanket and was curled up when, out of nowhere, a large hand came up and supported her lower back.
“Eat.”
Diana, who was suddenly forced to sit up, was speechless as she looked at the spoon held out in front of her.
“Ah.”
Diana stared blankly at the man who was showing the spoon into her with her mouth wide open. She didn’t even realize that her mouth was naturally open.
“That’s right.”
Edmund didn’t miss the gap and pushed the spoon in. As the rich soup filled her mouth, she felt hungry without realizing it. She pursed her lips and sucked the soup off the spoon, and Edmund looked down at her with a pleased face.
“One more.”
The hands that scooped up a generous amount of soup on a spoon and fed it to her mouth were extremely affectionate. This time, he even tore up some bread into small pieces and put it in her mouth. Diana chewed and ate that too.
“You eat well.”
A bright smile spread across Edmund’s face, and Diana looked at the sight for a moment as if lost in fascination.
Maybe you can smile like that. The person he was last night and the person he was during the day seemed like completely different people.
“Eat more.”
He scooped up another bowl of soup and held it out. Diana had no choice but to open her mouth again. And so, Diana was suddenly in his arms, eating her meal in a hearty manner.
“I’m full.”
Diana said after a moment, pushing his hand away. Edmund frowned at the gesture and looked at the tray of food. There was still more than half of the soup left, and so was the bread.
“You eat as much as sparrow feed.”
He had a very disapproving face.
“It’s become a habit… … .”
It was an inadvertent answer, but seeing his eyes change for a moment, Diana flinched, wondering if she had done something wrong.
But Edmund only wiped the crumbs from the corner of her mouth and gently rubbed her back, a gesture that seemed to help a child digest food better.
Edmund didn’t stop there, and poured some champagne for her to drink. Diana hesitated for a moment, then lowered her head and took a sip.
“Do you have a habit of eating less?”
“If I want to go to a social event… then I can’t eat like I normally do.”
It was an inevitable choice to wear breathtaking dresses just by looking at them. This was because there was a limit to tightening one’s body.
For that reason, Viscountess Pamina strictly managed Diana’s diet along with Agnes’s. There were times when a piece of fruit was all that was needed for a meal before an important dance.
Even now, the aunt was about to ask her to loose more weight, and Agnes scolded her, asking it was too much for her, but the Viscountess’s will was firm.
“It’s because of those damn dresses.”
Edmund looked really angry.
“So you didn’t even eat cake yesterday.”
“Well, I can’t help it. sorry.”
He frowned again as Diana hurriedly apologized.
“Why are you apologizing?”
“That… … .”
Because he looked angry. I don’t know why, but he seemed to be quite emotionally shaken by Diana’s words.
“I guess I’ll have to throw away all the dresses I bought.”
“Why is that… … .”
“I need to make clothes that fit your body again.”
“It’s okay… … .”
“You don’t have to live in that prison-like dress here.”
His eyes swept over Diana’s body. The lines of her body were clearly visible beneath the thin negligee, so Diana flinched against him again.
“You can eat as much as you want. You need to gain some weight.”
He lifted Diana’s slender wrist and examined it, then added:
“I thought you were going to break when I held you yesterday.”
“… … .”
Edmund kissed along the raised wrist. A burning sensation followed wherever his lips touched. Diana’s body stiffened as she had a premonition that he would hug her again.
Edmund let out a low laugh as he noticed Diana stiffening.
“I won’t do it anymore.”
“… … .”
“Today.”
Diana’s mind went blank for a moment at the condition he added.
“Well, I… … Edmund.”
“Why?”
He asked back with a lazy smile. Looking at his eyes urging her to speak quickly, she suddenly remembered what had happened in the early morning.
“I am going to fuck you until you’re satisfied.”
As soon as she told him to let her go, his eyes suddenly changed and he hugged her roughly. When she remembered that incident, her mouth snapped shut.
“What were you trying to say?”
“Oh, no… … .”
Diana was anxious that his calm lake-like eyes might change again at any moment. So she resolved not to repeat the same mistake if possible.
“Tell me.”
He lifted Diana’s face, who had dropped her gaze, and asked again.
“Whatever you want.”
Really? Diana lifted her head closely. But the moment she noticed the wet madness in those eyes, she couldn’t help but swallow back her words in her throat, telling him to let her go.
I almost fell into a trap.
“Oh, no… … .”
“Really?”
He looked extremely resentful. Diana, who was racking her brain wondering if she should say something, said something that came to mind.
“Flower… That..”
“Flower?”
“Yes, flowers… I want to see flowers. There are no flowers here….”
It was something she picked up whenever she could, but there really wasn’t even a single piece of grass in the bedroom she was locked in.
“…..”
He smiled as if he remembered something.
“Yeah, you like flowers.”
