“Episode 39”

This place was a mysterious realm. Despite the lack of visible windows, the wind breezed through occasionally, and even without common candlesticks, one could discern the features of the other. With nothing but obscure darkness and Clodan, it was as if everything bowed down to him like a king.

“Your eye color is beautiful.”

Thus, it felt like sleeping in reality. In this pitch-black room, it felt like being in a deeper slumber than during the bright day or the night when the moon retired. Consequently, one felt bolder than usual, even daring to do things they wouldn’t normally contemplate.

“I thought you were beautiful from the moment I saw you.”

Ray gently traced Clodan’s eye with her thumb. Even the usually fierce and rugged Clodan quietly accepted her touch. As Ray straddled him and pressed closer, he remained calm. His fierce gaze softened, and his lips, once twisted in a smirk, now relaxed.

Just a moment ago, she dared to lay her hand on his lower body, ready to do something bold. However, Ray treated Clodan solemnly, as if she were a scholar, gently touching him without any ulterior motives.

“What did you think when you first saw me, Clodan?”

Even if he were inclined to be docile, it wasn’t an appropriate moment for conversation. With his eerie gaze capturing even Ray’s most casual gestures, he seemed to capture her every move. When no response came, Ray answered herself as if reminiscing.

“It was so cold that day, even after coming into the mansion, I was still shivering. I got soaked in the rain. But strangely, as soon as I saw Clodan, I felt warm. I wanted to get closer to him, to be with him.”

Continuing to stroke his hair, which was damp with sweat, Ray tidied it up. It was a gentle and cautious touch, like caring for a patient. Clodan, his throat parched, swallowed dryly as if he couldn’t speak, not because he deliberately refused but because he couldn’t.

“Are you in a lot of pain?”

Clodan, who had maintained silence throughout Ray’s murmuring, furrowed his eyebrows. It was the first meaningful reaction he had shown during Ray’s gentle words. “Are you angry because I won’t release you?”

Clodan, who had maintained his meek demeanor, suddenly discarded it and seemed ready to break the chains immediately.

“Don’t give me any medicine, Ray. I really want to lock myself up.”

“I didn’t give you any medicine.”

“If you love the sunlight so much but can’t see it forever, wouldn’t you be sad? Stop teasing me and either leave or call Philip.”

“Even though you’re saying all this so well, why won’t you answer my question?”

“What?”

“I asked you how you felt when you first saw me.”

Today, Ray acted as if she had made up her mind, calm and composed. Like a person unaffected by any sharp blade, she embraced Clodan with both arms.

“I want to hear it.”

“Why?”

“Because I chose Clodan.”

“Chose?”

“Yes.”

Listening to Clodan’s heart beating roughly, Ray thought of her mother scolding her and Hashi crying, demanding to reveal the cost of raising her, and abandoning her bloodline. With each moment of their reproachful voices, Ray held onto Clodan tightly.

She couldn’t bring herself to mention the letter Hashi had sent. She didn’t want to weigh down their already unstable relationship further. Over time, she realized that Hashi was pitiful. While she had found love, Hashi had become a fugitive, wandering through the desolate thorns. It was a sad affair. Despite being such inadequate siblings, she hoped they would find peace someday.

“So I wonder what kind of person Clodan is, and if he feels the same as me. I’m curious about that.”

“You might not like the answer.”

“Why?”

“All I have.”

Clodan’s words trailed off there. There was no way to make them longer, no definite conclusion.

“It’s okay even if you don’t like it. Just tell me.”

Even though Ray pleaded earnestly, Clodan kept his lips sealed. It was a rejection. Ray moved away slightly from Clodan’s embrace.

“How much longer do I have to wait?”

Ray didn’t want to confront him angrily. Would there be any meaning in forcing out what wasn’t freely given? But Ray was growing tired. Unable to share the love she had cultivated alone, she felt burdened by its weight. It was the same reason she had sought out the dangerous Clodan. She hadn’t come to embrace him boldly but to struggle like a drowning swan.

“Is this all you want to do with me?”

Intentionally pressing down on the prominent arousal below, Clodan let out a groan, his eyes glinting with desire. The throat that had only swallowed dryly now emitted hot sighs.

Ray gasped for breath. The suggestive movements reminiscent of sexual intercourse were evidence enough. Disappointed by the clear response, Ray was astonishingly hurt.

“Okay, I understand.”

Her resigned tone was met with Clodan’s lips, mingling with hers. It was a bittersweet kiss tainted with tears, but for Clodan, who wanted only her, it was an unparalleled sweetness. Their sticky tongues twisted and tangled, conveying an undeniable passion that couldn’t be hidden. It was a kiss more truthful than words.

Ray tentatively touched Clodan’s belt with trembling hands. Although inexperienced, even her clumsy touch satisfied Clodan. Even after the kiss ended, he repeatedly pressed his lips against Ray’s cheeks like a madman.

“It might hurt if it’s not wet. Hmm?”

As Clodan anxiously observed the erect organ, he moved his lips to Ray’s neck. Though she squirmed at the ticklish caress, Ray didn’t avoid Clodan’s gaze or lips.

“What should I… do?”

“Say it again.”

“Hmm?”

“What do you want me to do?”

Ray’s words triggered an abnormal reaction in Clodan. It was as if the patience he had accumulated for so long had explosively burst forth. With his obscene organ exposed, Clodan smirked dangerously.

“What am I supposed to do?”

“I don’t know.”

“Then guide me.”

“Guide?”

Clodan’s eyes met Ray’s hand. She wanted to humiliate and dominate him, but she felt embarrassed in this regard. After briefly inspecting the organ with lowered eyes, she slowly moved her hand.

Guide. It was a word she had heard, but executing it with her hands was difficult. Firstly, looking at a man’s organ was awkward, and Clodan’s was too large to grasp with one hand. Eventually, she clumsily touched it, and Clodan left a deep kiss on her cheek.

“Ray.”

Ray felt as if the call was meant for someone who knew love. Perhaps the words had triggered something, as her hesitant hands gradually became more confident. Moving up and down, responding to Clodan’s reactions, she hesitated before slowly moving back down again. His labored breaths grew louder. Unable to stay still, Clodan’s unrestrained lips couldn’t leave Ray’s.

“Is it good?” “Ah… Ray.”

Clodan rested his forehead completely on Ray’s shoulder. His breaths were heavy, as if he were groaning with a fever. If it weren’t for the trembling waist that responded to her gentle touch, one might mistake him for an invalid.

“Clodan, does it hurt?” “It’s good. It’s so good, I might lose my mind.”

Ray’s resentment dissipated as she lovingly looked at Clodan, who relied on her. The man who once looked down on the world now collapsed, clinging to her without any standards. An excitement with an unknown origin overwhelmed Ray. Her rigid hand, which had been moving mechanically, changed direction and subtly touched the tip.

“Oh.”

Clodan, who had let out an exclamation, shook his hips like a person possessed. Just as Ray blushed at the lewd sight, the friction in her hand caused the erect organ to start leaking white fluid.

Despite clearly ejaculating, Clodan couldn’t stop thrusting. Feeling the wetness underneath, Ray watched him with concern.

“Ray, oh, Ray, Ray.”

Even as they continued, his organ didn’t decrease in size. As if unsatisfied, Clodan pleaded with Ray. Ray, startled, said the first thing that came to her mind.

“I’ll clean my hands and come back.”

“Don’t go.”

“I’m not leaving. Just…”

“Guide me again.”

No matter how shameless, there were limits to her resolve. But she was now in a situation where she had lit a fire she couldn’t extinguish. Ray could only stare at her hands covered in ejaculate.

“Ray.”

“Don’t rush me, please.”

“Spread your legs.”

“What?”

Of course, she had chosen to wear a skirt that reached just above her ankles. Even a slight spread would reveal everything underneath. Clodan knelt down and leaned forward.

“It’s wet.”

“No!”

“I’ll lick it.”

“No, really, it’s fine. And it’s nothing.”

“Don’t be so sure, Ray. Your expression when you put on your underwear, your face flushed with desire. Don’t I know you?”

“That’s not… that’s not what it is.”

“Look at you now. If you’d just show me once, I’d stop. You’re hiding it as you pull your skirt down.”

Ray pulled her skirt down to cover her toes. As she tried to retreat, Clodan’s mocking words continued.

“Why is it wet?”

“It’s not… it’s not wet…”

“You can’t even show it once, yet you say…”

“It’s not that I can’t show it, I just…”

“Can you show it then?”

Not knowing what possessed her, she bargained like a swindler, getting involved without reason. Faced with Clodan’s knowing gaze, she felt a surge of unnecessary pride, lifting her skirt slowly. Shallow thoughts of winning filled her mind. With her legs almost imperceptibly spread, Ray felt a sense of boldness.

“That’s enough.”

“I can’t see.”

“Clodan, you have poor eyesight.”

“Stop making excuses and spread them wider.”

“That’s enough, really.”

At that moment, the iron chains shook violently, as if they were about to break. The previously sturdy chains showed signs of weakening. It was because of the forceful movements causing them to collide with each other.

“I wouldn’t get excited by seeing that kind of thing.”

As if not accepting her words, Clodan changed his approach and tormented her with the chains. Despite thinking it unlikely, when the chains started to break apart with a desperate sound, Ray became anxious. She was worried her wrists might get hurt. Ray approached and grabbed Clodan’s wrist.

“Stop it, Clodan.”

“I don’t want to.”

“You might get hurt. Stop!”

He only became more forceful. Now, even the chain wrapped around the wrist seemed to weaken. Ray imagined Clodan hurting from the broken pieces of the chain.

“Please, Clodan. I don’t want you to get hurt.”

“I won’t get hurt.”

“How…!”

As Clodan pulled down on the chain on the left as if pulling a rope, the tightly tied chain from the ceiling fell down. A long piece of chain extended behind Clodan. Despite still being tied to his wrist, Clodan slammed it hard on the ground, resembling a woodcutter swinging an axe.

“Clodan.”

With a loud noise, the chain on the left broke. Clodan reached out his freed hand to Ray. Ray thought she had dug her own grave. Instead of admitting defeat gracefully, she had only stirred up unnecessary anger.
