“Episode 24”
Satisfying dreams are often remembered in fragmented scenes rather than as a whole. That morning was no different, leaving behind only vague memories instead of detailed ones. If one were to pinpoint, it could be described as a brief exchange of Clodan’s adept hip movements.
“Say it again.”
“What… What do you mean?”
“Do you want to live with me, in my house?”
The dawn air thickened with their mingled breaths, heating up as Ray nodded vigorously while Clodan, excited, glared at her.
“But you don’t want to? You don’t?”
His voice sounded wounded at first glance. However, with Clodan relentlessly delving into her genitals, Ray found it difficult to respond.
“Then you shouldn’t have resisted under me.”
“Clodan, I… I…”
“What’s my name?”
“Uh… Ah… I…”
“Why are you trying to leave me?”
Ray wanted to explain that her resistance didn’t mean what he thought. But with semen forcefully entering her, she could only cry out in agony.
Afterward, Clodan continued to nag and sulk. Whenever Ray’s eyes closed in sleepiness, he would harass her. Just before falling asleep, Ray looked into Clodan’s yellow eyes. That was all she could recall from that dawn.

Even though her hungry stomach rumbled, Ray had no energy to even lift her eyelids. She tried to guess the menu from the savory scent alone. Since they were by the sea, it was probably seafood. Even though saliva flowed into her throat, she had no desire to get up. As she nestled into the pillow, contemplating whether to sleep more, a large hand reached into her mouth to remove a strand of hair. It also lightly tapped her cheek. It was a tender gesture, filled with affection. Without realizing it, Ray touched her cheek with the palm of her hand. The hand even reached her lips.
“Sleep some more.”
As if being woken up backward was the key to easing her conscience, Ray opened her eyes. She could hear the soothing sound of waves. She could feel the playful touch of the wind. She could smell the salty sea and the scorched sand. Each sense returned one by one. Lastly, Ray recognized the melancholic expression on Clodan’s face.
“Clodan.”
Her voice broke weakly. It had been a long and difficult morning. It was only natural. Now, it was evening, with the beautiful stars twinkling in the sky. Ray gently held Clodan’s hand on her cheek.
“Where are we?”
It was time to resolve her curiosity. The luxurious evening at the mansion turned into waves, and Clodan acted as if he had forgotten the word “reason.” That was the question that encapsulated it all. But Clodan evaded it like an innocent child.
“I want to see the sea.”
Ray sat up with a creak, like an ungreased metal, and rejected Clodan’s attempt to help. She didn’t feel like accepting his innocent gesture.
“I’ve always found it strange.”
The polite smile gradually disappeared. Although it seemed to be an uncomfortable topic for Clodan, Ray, unwilling to compromise, persisted with her questioning.
“You told me not to come out. But why… And suddenly, I see the sea. I’m sure I didn’t even take a step outside the mansion.”
Ray placed her hand on Clodan’s stiff cheek.
“Tell me. I’m really confused.”
Clodan held Ray’s hand and leaned in closer, lightly kissing her. As he continued to kiss her lips more passionately, Ray realized what this meant. She quickly turned her face away and said firmly.
“I don’t want to.”
“Why?”
“Why? Weren’t we just talking?”
“I want to kiss.”
Avoiding his lips, Ray gazed out at the vast, blue sea.
“Are you… like a fairy?”
Clodan chuckled, softening his expression to soothe her.
“Ray.”
“Yeah?”
Clodan pulled Ray’s hand toward him. It was a gesture filled with unmistakable lust. As Ray caressed it with her soft palm, Clodan sighed in satisfaction.
“Have you ever seen a fairy like this?”
The signs of arousal hadn’t subsided yet. Though it was just a one-night affair, Clodan, displaying a hint of restraint, persevered.
Ray, tormented all night, wore a bewildered expression. Yes, that was the difference between them. She would never understand, nor did she want to expose every detail of her being.
“If you think of me as a fairy, then sure.”
Pushing further would only lead him to dive under Ray again. As the morning sun rose, Clodan, who had been ravaging a near-unconscious Ray, gradually lost his vigor.
From her white breasts to her thighs, the bed was filled with traces, and semen overflowed, dripping onto the bed sheets. Moreover, Ray was in no state to respond. Seeing him, who had been so eager for sex, as nothing more than a beast, Ray felt like he had even destroyed her. It was around that time that his erection, which had seemed eternal, disappeared.
But it wasn’t over yet. Though he could speak with dignity, he still longed for Ray so much it made him physically ill. So, he sat away from her, keeping his distance, but even that seemed to displease Ray.
“You know everything.”
Her eyes, now a mess of resentment, conveyed her disappointment. Despite her weakened body, she pulled Clodan closer.
“I fell in love with you.”
Unsettled by the thrill in his heart, Clodan gritted his teeth. His erection, which had just calmed down, raised its head again. Seeing an opportunity, Clodan bit down on it.
“I feel wronged.”
Ray, without a hint of malice, continued her adorable tantrum.
“You made me fall in love with you, but there’s more I don’t know than anyone in the mansion. You told me not to come out? You seduced me so painfully. You made me unable to breathe without leaving. Why do I have to know nothing?”
The situation was not good. The more Ray protested, the more Clodan’s rationality fled. It was dangerous to not be able to hold back. Taking in a woman who declared her love so openly. It would be too simple. Moreover, she was a woman who easily overstepped even her own heart.
He didn’t want to refuse her. He wanted to plunge his lips into her quivering ones, to enter her with his lascivious desires split into two.
When Clodan staggered to his feet, desperate to leave, Ray, feeling dejected, drove in the wedge. She wrapped her arms around his waist and approached him.
“Clodan, where are you going?”
“Let go.”
“Why? Why? I don’t want to. Let’s keep talking.”
“Ray.”
“We’re lovers, aren’t we? You said so yourself. Then I should know more than what I don’t know.”
“Ah.”
Blood rushed backward. It was almost as if the devil, who wanted to torment himself, had chosen an exceptionally wicked fiend to send. Clodan weakly pushed her arm away.
“Have something to eat. I made it.”
“…”
“I’m not okay right now. You’re… like that…”
“I hate you.”
Seol’s voice was filled with anger. Clodan, who had taken a step back, turned around leisurely. Tears welled up in Ray’s eyes as she glared at him. One of her shoulders was exposed, exuding a seductive allure. Clodan discreetly swallowed his saliva.
“I don’t want to be lovers with Clodan.”
“Is that so?”
“Look at this. Clodan!”
Ray now lowered her head in shame instead of blushing.
“It’s not a pity, is it? For me.”
It’s going to turn. Really, it’s going to turn like this. That was the only thought occupying Clodan’s mind. He felt like he could turn Ray into pieces and devour her with his eyes.
“I always have to be considerate and regretful, and it takes thousands of times for me to say something like this. It’s always me. Clodan is weird, but I have to know nothing. I’m the one who doesn’t need to be told anything, by Clodan.”
“Please.”
“It’s too hard. I have so many questions. So many, but never once…”
“Please stop because I want to kiss you.”
Even though it was a difficult thing to say, Ray’s face was wounded. Clodan felt like he wanted to drag her to the guillotine. He had lived his whole life without emotions, but that woman was pushing him to an ignominious end.
“Is that all you want to say to me?”
Clodan wanted to ask. Did she want to force him to talk about the curse that he had to endure during his rutting period as punishment for killing his master?
What Clodan wanted was not cheap emotions like sympathy. He didn’t want that because it was too tiresome. He understood Ray’s hurt feelings. Even he would have felt the same way. Of course, if it were Ray, she would have been more gentle, but there was no mercy for Clodan, who was fundamentally different.
“I’m leaving.”
Ray retreated into the blanket. She covered herself completely, turning her back on Clodan. Ray spoke in the coldest tone possible.
“I don’t like it here.”
Clodan looked around. It was a cozy place, with a canopy made of wood, a bed, and a dining table. For something made in haste with magic, it resembled the childhood cottage they had visited. He didn’t want to bring the worst to Ray like this, but his desire for understanding from her was his own greed.
Clodan forced himself to the bathroom. Ray’s sobbing voice echoed through the bathroom door as soon as he left. Clodan, hastily using a locking spell, cursed himself at the sound of her crying.
It was a moonlit night when the crashing waves provided no solace.
