When Fu Yuling fell asleep, she felt her soul leave her body.
The familiar surroundings were now more dilapidated.
This was her home, or to be exact, the original owner’s home.
After she came here, she gradually tidied up the courtyard, making it much neater. But now, everything around was dilapidated, without a single thing intact.
She went into the room and saw a woman lying on the floor, unconscious with blood at the back of her head.
When she took a closer look, she was so shocked.
It was the original owner.
Feeling her weak breathing, Fu Yuling grew anxious.
Soon, there were sounds from outside.
Someone was coming.
It was Fu Qi. Seeing the original owner lying on the floor, he cried out “Sister!” but got no response. His face turned deathly pale.
He quickly carried her out and all the way to the hospital for emergency treatment. Fu Yuling was by his side. She felt relieved when she saw him taking action.
If he had arrived any later, the original owner might not have made it.
The waiting time was very long, and Fu Qi remained in the same posture all, until the door finally opened. He hurriedly stood up and almost stumbled.

Fu Yuling was puzzled. This was not described in the novel at all.
From beginning to end, the original owner was always portrayed as a character without much brain and also unreasonable after she met the male lead.
Presumably, only Fu Qi and their parents protected her in the entire novel.
But the scene she saw now was something Fu Yuling had never seen before.
Is this still part of the novel’s story?
No, it’s not.
The only reasonable explanation she could give herself was that after she entered this novel, a lot of things that were unclear in the novel started to fill in the gaps automatically.
But now the original owner is here. So where is she?
As she contemplated this, her surroundings shifted, and she woke up.
He Xuan was leaning over her. He looked much better than before and was no longer shouting in the middle of the night not to sell him.
Seeing her awake, He Xuan nuzzled her with his head, and Fu Yuling let him. She really needed a sense of security right now.
What she witnessed just now confirmed her suspicion. The author might have tried to change the children’s fate, since they could not change the ending. So they used the dream to let the children experience the original story’s beginning.
This way, everything would fit together seamlessly with the ending!
