After Transmigrating into a Book, I Raised Four Big Bosses

Blew Up the Pot?

“When she comes to find you next time, you all should run first, Mom… I’ll deal with her.”

The word “Mom” almost slipped out of her mouth, but she stopped herself. Now even the child didn’t trust her, so saying this title  is inappropriate. It’s possible that any slight mistake would further increase the child’s disgust towards her.

“No need for your fake kindness!”

Ever since she sold He Xuan once, He Wen never trusted her again. No matter where he goes, he insisted on keeping He Xuan within his sight.

If someone took He Xuan away where he couldn’t see, he would go crazy and hurt people.

Fu Yuling choked for a moment. “Let’s go home first! I’ve cooked.”

Upon hearing this, He Wen looked at her sharply. “You didn’t blow up the pot again, did you?”

“?”

“…No.”

Helpless, it’s no wonder He Wen would think that way. Previously, He Wen didn’t cook for the original owner and when the original owner got hungry, she went to cook for herself. As a result, she blew up the pot and had to buy a new one for three cents.

During that time, everyone survived on steamed buns and vegetables from the field to stave off hunger.

In order to prevent his hard-earned three cents from going to waste again, He Wen started cooking the original owner’s share.

He Wen clearly didn’t believe her, but there was still a glimmer of hope in his heart.

What if! What if this time she was lucky and didn’t blow up the pot, but burned the food instead!

With this expectation in mind, He Wen grabbed He Xuan and followed behind Fu Yuling all the way.

The road was full of mud, with uneven and muddy. Thw yellow mud splashed all over them as they walked.

There were several large puddles ahead. He Xuan was too young to walk easily. He Wen was only six years old himself and it was a hard time, let alone pulling He Xuan along.

Fu Yuling turned around and picked up He Xuan with one hand. He was surprisingly light and easy to carry.

Using her other hand, she grabbed He Wen and hugged him in her arms before he could react in time.

Through the clothes, He Wen could smell a pleasant fragrance. He could even clearly feel the kindness she sent out.

He Xuan held his mouth for a while and was about to cry. Fu Yuling swiftly lifted him up with quick eyes and hands1Careful observation; quick response. It means that Fu Yuling immediately lifted him up after noticing that He Xuan was about to cry., stopping his sobbing halfway, his lips hanging open in confusion.

“Don’t cry, there will be delicious food when we get back.”

Little children don’t understand much, but they have a strong ability to learn.

“Delicious?”

After passing the puddle, Fu Yuling put He Wen down. She didn’t carry him anymore, but she still held his hand.

She responded to He Xuan while walking, “That’s right, does Xiao Xuan wants to eat?”

“Wants to eat, Xiao Xuan is hangry2额 (é) is a child’s mispronunciation or a playful variation of the word “饿” (è), which means “hungry” in Chinese. When children are learning to speak, they often make pronunciation errors or create their own simplified versions of words. In this case, “额” (é) could be seen as an adorable mispronunciation of “饿” (è) by He Xuan.

“It’s hungry, not hangry.”

Fu Yuling corrected him.

“Hangry, hungry, haw3Babbling sound …” He Xuan uttered a few sounds in one go, and the way he imitated it added to his cuteness.

Fu Yuling chuckled and imitated his speech. “Xiao Xuan is hangry, right?”

He Xuan understood and nodded. “Hangry!”

The loving interaction between Fu Yuling and He Xuan made He Wen even more alert.

When they reached the doorstep, He Wen stopped and stood still. He refused to move.

“Are you still planning to sell Xiao Xuan?”

Otherwise, why would she suddenly be so kind to them, unless she hit a ghost?

But he didn’t know that he was the one hit a ghost4It’s talking about Fu Yuling, who said to be a ‘ghost’ since she is actually a soul from another world..

“He Wen, I have no intention of selling you all.”

Fu Yuling explained earnestly.

She already had a plan. Once she raised these children, she would find a way to return to the real world.

So taking care of these children was something she had to do, and it can be regarded as a thank you gift to the original owner’s body.

She didn’t hold any expectations for these future big bosses to repay her or not seek revenge on her.

She has only one wish, and that is to go back.
