After Transmigrating into a Book, I Raised Four Big Bosses

Rat

Seeing that Fu Yuling was shouting in a panic, the man hesitated for a moment before quickly coming over to carry the person out.

As they were carrying the person out, Fu Yuling took the opportunity to walk towards the window while the man wasn’t paying attention.

After casually scanning the area and finding nothing, she quickly returned to Li Cuihua’s side.

At this time, transportation was not well-developed, but Fu Yuling had already stabilized her condition. As long as they reached the hospital within three hours, it would be fine.

“You should take her to the hospital first. The one inside is not in danger for the time being.”

There was another person inside. It was Li Cuihua’s mother. Fu Yuling took a look and saw that her rash wasn’t as severe as Li Cuihua’s.

Moreover, she just happened to make an antidote for this thing. As long as she fed her and let her rest for a few days, she would be fine.

But for Li Cuihua, if it were someone she didn’t know, she would save them. But since it was Li Cuihua, she could only ensure that she didn’t die. As for the pain, Fu Yuling didn’t consider it.

She only knew how helpless He Wen had felt when he was beaten and taken to an unfamiliar place.

Therefore, she couldn’t bring herself to save someone who had harmed her child.

Moreover, Li Cuihua’s child trafficking was a heinous crime. All punishments should be left to the police to handle.

After hearing Fu Yuling’s words, the man couldn’t think too much and hurriedly took the unconscious Li Cuihua down the mountain.

On the way, they encountered a group of people. The man froze in place, afraid to move.

The person who arrived was Li Yan. His oppressive gaze fell on him before shifting to the unconscious Li Cuihua on his back the next second.

The villagers rarely saw these people with their imposing aura and knew that they couldn’t afford to provoke them, so they stood there while feeling anxious.

Li Yan checked Li Cuihua’s condition and waved his hand, and two people came forward.

“Quick, take this person to the hospital. Don’t delay.”

“Yes.”

As soon as Li Cuihua was taken away, it seemed like the man have made a major decision in his heart. He took a deep breath and started running in one direction, astonishing everyone present.

Li Yan, who was faster than him, caught up in a few steps. He jumped into the air and kicked the man’s back. The impact caused the man to fall heavily to the ground with a thud.

“Take him back!”

With these emotionless words, the man wanted to say something, but he was seeing stars now. Before he could recover, he was taken away.

Li Yan brought five people with him, mainly to prevent Li Cuihua from escaping, which was why he had so many people following him.

Now that the four had left at the same time, the one standing beside Li Yan was a young man of average height with slightly tanned skin but a clever look on his face.

“The house where Li Cuihua was kept is just up ahead. Shall we go there, Brother Li?”

Li Yan’s expression couldn’t be discern. “Yes, why wouldn’t we go? Maybe we can catch the rat!”

The young man name was  Xiao Rui, and he seemed to understood.

“Brother Li, are you referring to the woman I was following?”

Li Yan didn’t answer this question but continued walking forward with long strides.

“Rats can’t hide during the day, but there is no permanent darkness.”

This statement left Xiao Rui somewhat puzzled.

After following him for so long without understanding anything, Xiao Rui pouted. He felt like he was being bullied because he wasn’t good at studying, always hearing words he couldn’t understand.

Putting those thoughts aside, he quickly caught up with Li Yan.

Why is he trying so hard to get MC?! I understand that he wants to uphold the law, and I understand that she lied and he’s suspicious. Even with those points, he has no evidence she was behind this or even if she had a hand in it.

Regardless of his suspicions, she wasn’t the only one whose child was taken. And many of the villagers haven’t recovered their children. But, they are focusing solely on MC. Hmph!
