After Transmigrating into a Book, I Raised Four Big Bosses

Unhappy

She was used to hitting him, and He Qiu had grown accustomed to it.

But when she scolded Fu Yuling, it ignited a burst of anger in him. In order to hide it from He Jingxue, he lowered his head, clenched his fists tightly, and tensed his whole body.

“Do you understand? What I need is something with good grades that I can show off outside, and not something that would make me say you scored 99 in math when talking about you to others just because of a little mistake on your part.”

In reality, He Jingxue didn’t think highly of Fu Yuling. Unfortunately, all of the children she gave birth to were good-looking, especially He Qiu. He was the most handsome and resembled her younger brother the most.

If it weren’t for that, she would never let him live in her house.

Thinking of this, He Jingxue’s expression soured towards He Qiu. “Go back.”

When she returned to her own home, she immediately noticed something on the door. She took a glance at it and disdainfully tossed it aside.

“What is this thing?”

He Qiu’s eyes narrowed. He immediately recognized it as the paper airplane that Fu Yuling had given him but he didn’t catch. It was abandoned on the ground.

Since He Jingxue was still there, He Qiu didn’t pick it up and followed her inside.

After He Jingxue went to rest, He Qiu secretly sneaked outside. However, the paper airplane that was lying on the ground just a moment ago was now nowhere to be found.

Why is it gone?

He Qiu searched every place around, but it was nowhere to be found.

It wasn’t until he heard the sound of children playing behind a big tree that He Qiu slowly walked over.

He saw several children standing in an open space, and the paper airplane he was looking for was flying in their hands.

Stepping on branches, He Qiu said, “Give it back to me.”

The children were all spoiled by their parents and immediately bared their teeth and claws. “Why should we give it back to you? Clearly, it’s ours.”

Seeing the dark look in He Qiu’s eyes, they were a bit frightened. One of the children holding the paper airplane shifted his gaze and said, “You want it? I’ll give it to you.”

In the next moment, he tightly clenched his fist, and the paper airplane slowly crumpled in his hand, becoming a piece of scrap paper.

“Do you want it? Come and take it!”

Everyone burst into laughter and didn’t take it seriously.

“We’re leaving. Let’s go home.”

He Qiu remained motionless, watching them leave with a wave of their hands.

He was left alone in the same spot. His narrowed eyes flashed with a sharp light. After a while, he slowly opened his hand, and some powdery substance slipped from his fingertips and fell to the ground. It blended with the air, carrying a hint of fragrance.

This substance was something He Qiu discovered on the mountain before. He ground it into powder himself. Once it touched a person, red rashes would inexplicably appear on their body, but they would disappear after a couple of days. It only caused intense itching.

The only cruel thing was that if the dosage was high, the rashes on the body would quickly fester, causing the body’s functions to slow down and eventually leading to death.

The amount he had held in his hand just now was considered moderate for this group of children.

Silently, he approached the abandoned paper airplane. The paper was already tattered and even stained with water on the ground. When he picked it up, it was already out of shape.

However, He Qiu still picked it up carefully, as if protecting a treasure.

After returning home, he spread the paper on the desk and tried to restore it, but no matter what he did, it would collapse.

He was very smart. He found another piece of identical paper and started to layer it according to the traces. In a short while, a brand-new paper airplane was created.

But He Qiu was not happy. With his small hand, he earnestly flattened the crumbled paper and then leaned over the table to observe it.

Even though there was already a more neatly folded one next to the one given by Fu Yuling.
