“Li Dog!”
Luo Xiao immediately spotted one of the people and shouted excitedly.
Xiao Rui, who was following Li Yan, stumbled and almost fell out.
If Li Yan hadn’t reacted quickly to catch him, Xiao Rui would have embarrassed himself in front of so many people.
Taking the opportunity, Li Yan glanced at Luo Xiao who was leaning against the stick. Luo Xiao’s left eye twitched. This was bad.
Li Yan was the best at holding grudges.
Xiao Rui walked over to Luo Xiao and looked at him up and down. “Looks like you’re doing well here. Want to stay a few more days?”
Luo Xiao quickly shook his head. “No, let me out! I have two elderly parents to support at home…”
Xiao Rui’s expression showed disbelief. After all, he had seen this man’s thick skin before.
But this time he wasn’t here to deal with this guy, so he simply ignored him and walked ahead.
As for Li Yan, aside from the warning glance earlier, he didn’t spare Luo Xiao any attention.
“Hey! Don’t leave, let me out first.”
Ignoring the noise, Xiao Rui and Li Yan pretended not to hear.
When they reached the people who had been captured, Li Yan stopped.
“Who sent you?”
One of them spat on the ground. “You think we’d be stupid enough to tell you everything after you caught us?”
“Fine, you don’t have to say anything! You can stay here until we figure things out, and then we won’t need you anymore.”
Xiao Rui had learned a bit from Li Yan over the years. He knew how to be intimidating.
“Came from the Jiang City area, right? Let me guess, which side are you from?”
Li Yan gave them a detailed analysis. “From your moves earlier, even though you deliberately didn’t use your usual ones, your subconscious reactions still exposed you. I suspect you’re either from the Black Tiger or the Red Fox, right?”
He slowly crouched down and said slowly, “Once we find out which side you’re from, they’ll be dead!”
He elongated the last word, filling it with malice.
The looks the others gave him didn’t seem like fear. They moved their lips but didn’t speak.
The man sitting opposite Luo Xiao kept staring in that direction. He couldn’t hear their conversation and his brows furrowed in irritation.
Luo Xiao secretly shifted his gaze, and following his sight, he noticed the few people locked up seemed to have seen the man, and then they sat down on the ground, closing their eyes and saying nothing.
Xiao Rui was furious, really stubborn.
Li Yan stood up, his figure obscured in the darkness, making it hard to see his expression.
“Let’s go.”
Xiao Rui didn’t ask questions at this moment. He silently followed behind him.
Seeing them about to leave, Luo Xiao was afraid they would forget about him, so he hurriedly yelled, “Hey! Don’t forget about me, hurry up and let me out!”
Only then did Xiao Rui look at him and pressed his fingers to his temples.
“Where’s the key?”
Hearing this, the people outside rushed over to hand him the key.
Xiao Rui took it and walked over, unlocking the door. When the iron lock fell with a click, Luo Xiao was visibly excited. He couldn’t help but lift Xiao Rui in a hug. Li Yan’s lips almost turned into a straight line at the sight.
“Let go!”
His voice was extremely cold, sending chills down everyone’s spine.
Luo Xiao quickly released him and put his fists up in a defensive posture.
“Li Dog, what do you want?”
“What do I want?”
He smiled sinisterly. “Keep him locked up!”
Before long, someone carried Luo Xiao back inside, and with a click, he was locked up again.
“Li Dog, I hate you!!!”
