After Transmigrating into a Book, I Raised Four Big Bosses

Everyone’s eyes were quickly moving, and after making sure that Fu Yuling would not speak, he slowly let go of his hand.

She sighed and crouched down.

“Xiao An, I don’t not want you.”

After seriously saying this sentence, she then took his hand and went to the kitchen.

After lighting the fire, she instructed him, “Xiao An, watch the fire. Tell me if it gets low.”

“Okay.”

He answered loudly.

“Great!”

After praising him, Fu Yuling went to get the dough, which she had already prepared earlier that day.

Now she just needed to take it out, knead it to the right consistency, and then put it in the pot and cook it into noodles.

She cut some green onions, and once the water boiled, she carefully put the noodles in. She tried her best not to let the noodles break and keep them whole.

After putting everything in, she finally relaxed. It had been quite a test of her patience.

But thinking of He An, she felt satisfied.

As for the sauce, she had already prepared a lot of backup earlier, so she just needed to take it out to use now.

He An propped his chin with both hands, watching the flames flicker up and down, sometimes big and sometimes small, blinking his eyes to observe.

It wasn’t until Fu Yuling called them to come eat that his gaze finally shifted away.

When they got to the table, there were several bowls of steaming hot noodles, topped with mushrooms and some nice green onions, which immediately stimulated their appetites.

He Xuan picked up his chopsticks and wanted to start eating, but was lightly hit by Fu Yuling with her chopsticks.

“Go wash your hands first.”

He Xuan quickly went to wash his hands.

He Qiu and He Wen didn’t say anything, just focused on eating their noodles.

He An took his chopsticks and took a bite. Finding it very delicious, he then slowly began to eat.

Seeing that they had almost finished eating, Fu Yuling went to get the boiled eggs she had made, two for each person.

“Today is Xiao An’s birthday, so the noodles you’re eating are longevity noodles. Eating them will make you live a hundred years. So be sure to finish them all!”

After briefly explaining, Fu Yuling began to eat her own portion.

The entire kitchen was quiet. After they finished eating, Fu Yuling started cleaning up.

At this time, someone started knocking on the door outside.

She was a bit puzzled, who would come so late at night?

Putting down the things in her hands, she didn’t immediately open the door, but instead asked.

“Who is it?”

“It’s me.”

It was a rather unfamiliar voice, one that Fu Yuling had never heard before.

“Who are you?”

“He Jingnan.”

He Jingnan, isn’t he He Jingi’s younger brother?

She didn’t know what business this person had with her, but she still opened the door.

She asked puzzledly, “Why are you here so late?”

“Come in and sit for a bit.”

He Jingnan refused, “No need, I’m here to deliver some things.”

Saying that, he took some items out of his large bag.

Each item was neatly packaged, and one can see the care of the giver.

“For He Wen and the others.”

After saying that, he turned and left.

He Jingnan, the original owner’s impression of him wasn’t very deep. She had only seen him a few times when she married He Jingsi. Other than that, she rarely saw him in the village.

As for He Wen and the others, He Jingnan would often come visit them when the original owner was not around.

So compared to He Jingxue, she understood He Jingnan even less.

In the novel, it only mentions that this person later became the leader of a company, nothing else.

It’s as if this person was just casually written in by the author, like a random passerby with no real role in advancing the plot.

The retreating figure of He Jingnan was steady, with a sense of uprightness about him.

He was a bit like the scholars of the Republic of china, with ideals and aspirations, single-mindedly devoted to the country, just lacking the scholarly air.

There is always a bright spot in a pile of rot. Clearly He Jingnan has better qualities than his other siblings, but I don’t trust someone who just sat on the sidelines while so many bad things were happening.

Though maybe it was easier for him to just be quiet, because his family was so toxic.
