Chapter 6 Because Miss likes it
Ji Shiyan stepped out with vigorous strides. Ye He had already gone downstairs. At the moment, she was sitting on the sofa with her legs crossed, and was holding a pink piggy stuffed toy in her arms (Peppa pig). The little person was nestled there, making people’s hearts soften a bit.
Ye He saw him coming, and deliberately turned her face away. “Don’t talk to me, I won’t pay attention to you!”
She fiddled with the toy’s ears with both hands, feeling a little uneasy.
The servants on the side, as well as the housekeeper Uncle Xu, were all nervous. Everyone had a feeling that another thunderstorm was on the way, and they just wanted to get away from the storm scene as soon as possible.
Ji Shiyan sat next to her, “Ah He…” When he was not manic, his voice was very delicate, with a fascinating magnetism, “Ah He…” He called out again like a murmur.
Ye He pouted, turned her head gloomily,
“What? Realized it’s your fault?”
Her clear eyes seemed to be stained with dew, and she stared straight at Ji Shiyan, as if she would cry aggrieved in the next second.
“Yes, Ah He, I didn’t read the message.” Ji Shiyan said in a stern tone, raised his hand and pinned the messy hair on Ye He’s forehead behind her ear.
The movement was so gentle that the servant on the side suspected that he had seen it wrong.
“In the future… try to believe in me more, okay?” Ye He held his hand and whispered with her head down.
Ji Shiyan’s dark and deep pupils inevitably flashed a few hints of exploration. Such Ye He is unfamiliar to him, but the warmth on his palms made him subconsciously say: “Okay.”
Dinner was ready.
Ji Shiyan seems to have endless things to do every day and often returns to the villa early in the morning. She spends almost all of her time with him bickering, and the number of times she eats with him is zero. Ye He decided to upgrade it to one a day starting today.
“Drink some chicken soup!” She slowly took a bowl full of chicken soup and handed it to Ji Shiyan with a smile.
“Oh, Miss Ye…” Uncle Xu was about to say something, when Ji Shiyan raised his hand, he stopped.
“What’s wrong?” Ye He looked at Ji Shiyan suspiciously.
“It’s okay.” Ji Shiyan took the chicken soup and drank it in a few gulps.
Putting down the bowl, he found that Ye He was staring at him, like a little daughter-in-law asking for credit.
There was a slight smile on the corner of his mouth, and he gently scratched her nose, the doting in his eyes was almost impossible to hide.
After dinner, Ji Shiyan was reading some documents on the sofa. Ye He quietly walked over to Uncle Xu, “Uncle Xu, what were you going to say?” She could see that he wanted to say something at first, but was stopped by Ji Shiyan.
Uncle Xu’s eyes dodged, as if hesitating, and after a while, he said, “Young master never eats chicken, nor does he drink chicken soup.”
Hearing this, Ye He frowned, “Then why did you stew chicken soup?”
“Because Miss likes it.” Uncle Xu had a kind smile on his face, “Young master really cares about Miss…”
“What are you talking about?” Ji Shiyan noticed that the two were talking, and asked from a distance, Uncle Xu bowed to Ye He and hurried away.
Ye He thoughtfully returned to the sofa and nestled next to Ji Shiyan with Peppa pig in her arms. She didn’t seem very happy.
“What’s wrong? Hiss…” With a shallow snort, Ji Shiyan put down the teacup he just raised. He was holding a document in his right hand, and he didn’t pay attention to serving tea with his left hand just now.
The scabbed scar was subjected to external force, tore a small incision, and blood soaked the thin gauze.
Ye He saw it, and her heart tightened, so she ran away, and after a while, came back with a medicine box (first aid kit).
Ji Shiyan thought she was afraid that he would take his anger out on her, so she ran away, but then he saw her running over again with a medicine box (first aid kit).
But at this moment, his mind was full of the scene where she stabbed the knife at him not long ago, the determination, the cruelty that he could not easily forget, and the pain in the palm of his hand reminded him that the woman in front of him clearly hated him! Her present gesture of affection is nothing but her scheme.
He lamented that he almost trusted her.
“It’s okay, it’s just a minor injury.” His expression turned cold in an instant, and he stood up to leave.
“No, Ah Yan, I’m going to bandage you.” Ye He’s soft little hand held his wrist.
