The gentle announcement from the flight attendant suddenly woke up a woman who had been dozing off in her seat.

She pulled down the thin blanket covering her, and removed the eye mask from her forehead which revealed a pair of dark and beautiful almond-shaped eyes. She then reached up to adjust her slightly disheveled short hair.

Once the plane had come to a complete stop, she casually put on her latest Gucci sunglasses from the neckline of her outfit, concealing most of her delicate, fair skin, and revealing only a small portion along with her cherry-red slightly upturned lips.

Those unaware might mistake her for a celebrity from the entertainment industry.

Ten minutes later, at the airport’s second-floor terminal exit, Jiang Wan Yu lifted her head and spotted a slim but highly refined young man waiting at the exit. He was smiling at her, “Junior sister, welcome back to your homeland!” and opened his arms.

Jiang Wan Yu’s lips curled into a faint smile. She adjusted her sunglasses and wearing 5-inch high heels, walked over while removing her sunglasses, revealing her pure and gentle face. She greeted him with a light hug, “Thank you, senior brother. I didn’t expect you to personally come to pick me up.”

She had pursued a clinical medicine undergraduate degree in college but took a year off due to pregnancy. After divorcing Lin Yi Chen, she chose to study abroad with the help of her senior, Gu Jinyan.

Even this return to work in China was recommended by him.
