After Being Preached by my Senior Martial Brother

First Encounter (part 1.1)

Feng Xuan was lying bored on the long couch in Yingxu Palace on the third day after his big wedding when he remembered this incident.

At that time, Qi Zhuoyu was reading memorials from the Demon Realm.

It was evident that he was reading them very irritably.

Every now and then, he would grab Feng Xuan, hold him tightly, and squeeze him hard. Sometimes he would even kiss him.

It made Feng Xuan feel as if he had taken on the function of a stress-relief tool.

When Qi Zhuoyu once again grabbed the bored Feng Xuan, who was reading a storybook, into his arms, this time his kiss was a bit too intense.

Perhaps he had read a particularly displeasing memorial. Feng Xuan felt himself being pressed against the long table, kissed so deeply he could hardly breathe.

The man skillfully undid his collar.

Unexpectedly, Feng Xuan felt his body suspended in the air for a moment.

Qi Zhuoyu held his waist and placed his entire body on the long office table. He heard the sound of various memorials and scrolls being swept onto the floor, although they fell on the soft carpet. Feng Xuan realized what Qi Zhuoyu was about to do.

It wasn’t that he was being coy or disagreeing.

The little bird was now a married bird, and he was quite accommodating in satisfying his partner’s various strange desires.

It was just that the main doors of Yingxu Palace hadn’t been completely closed.

Even though he knew that most of the time, this vast palace was empty except for the two of them, Feng Xuan still couldn’t help but feel terrified.

If someone saw them, he would die of embarrassment for ten thousand years.

He wasn’t the type of demon consort who could appear nonchalantly in the Demon Realm after being seen!

When nervous, his body’s reactions were very obvious.

Qi Zhuoyu hissed and gripped his chin, saying, “Trying to murder your husband?”

Feng Xuan’s waist hurt from being pressed against the table, but his voice was soft as he silently complained, “Senior brother, if this method could kill you, you would have died ten thousand times already.”

“Why not?” Qi Zhuoyu hugged him and flipped him over without pulling out. This movement caused both of their expressions to change slightly, especially Feng Xuan’s. His mind went blank for a moment. When he came to, he heard the shameless big devil say, “Dying from pleasure is still dying.”

Feng Xuan: “…”

When it came to shamelessness, he felt he could never catch up to Qi Zhuoyu.

When they finished, it was snowing heavily outside the Demon Realm again.

Feng Xuan was so tired he didn’t want to move a finger. His clothes were torn and disheveled by Qi Zhuoyu and couldn’t be worn, so he had to take out a thick blanket from his small pouch to wrap himself in first.

After all, it was putting on clothes in the dead of winter.

It was also quite a test of cold resistance.

He originally thought his childish behavior would earn him a fatherly lecture from Qi Zhuoyu.

But unexpectedly, he didn’t object. He even thought Feng Xuan dressing like this made it convenient for him to move.

His waist was being pinched.

The man’s hand, with distinct knuckles, slid down a bit further and pinched his lower abdomen.

“Don’t pinch, it feels bloated,” Feng Xuan protested, implying something.

Every time they finished, it took him a long time to absorb all of this into spiritual energy.

But he had overestimated Qi Zhuoyu’s sense of shame. The big devil didn’t feel embarrassed about this at all.

Instead, he seemed very interested and kept pinching. Feng Xuan muttered, “Senior brother, do you like children that much?”

“Not particularly,” Qi Zhuoyu replied with a listless expression, but his hand didn’t stop moving.

Oh, not particularly, but why are you so persistent?

Although this was beneficial for dual cultivation.

Feng Xuan thought of Qi Zhuoyu’s competitive nature.

Surely he wouldn’t try to compete even with the difficulty of phoenix reproduction? To prove he could do what others couldn’t?

Feng Xuan laughed at his own imagination.

“What are you laughing at?” Qi Zhuoyu pinched him irritably.

“Ouch, really don’t pinch, Senior brother.” Feng Xuan was most afraid of having his ticklish spots pinched, curling up to avoid him.

“I just thought, newborn babies are actually quite ugly.” A few days ago, Feng Xuan had been invited to attend a birth celebration for a demon royal prince in the Demon Realm. He hadn’t expected demons to be so superstitious, believing that having the Demon Consort attend was good fortune for the child.

He was even earnestly requested to touch the demon child’s forehead and bless him.

However…

Seeing that wrinkled, red bundle of a demon infant, Feng Xuan couldn’t bring himself to call it cute in good conscience.

“This Venerable’s offspring couldn’t be that ugly.” Qi Zhuoyu seemed quite self-aware of his own good looks.

Oh right. He recalled that this man used to use his good looks to cause trouble back in the Misty Immortal Mansion.

Feng Xuan thought about his own face.

He was quite confident in his own appearance too, and unconsciously nodded slightly.

Qi Zhuoyu said, “Besides, if you really had one, it would be an egg. What does that have to do with infants?”

Feng Xuan was stunned, “How do you know it would be an egg?”

Qi Zhuoyu’s face again showed that “Do I look like an idiot?” expression.

Right.

His true form was a divine phoenix bird, and bird chicks all hatch from phoenix eggs.

“Then how do you know there aren’t ugly eggs?” Feng Xuan muttered softly, unwilling to concede.

“I don’t know about others.” Qi Zhuoyu seemed to recall something and said with certainty, “But when you were an egg, you weren’t ugly.”

Feng Xuan: …?

What are you saying? It sounds like you’ve seen me when I was still an egg.

But Qi Zhuoyu actually replied, “Of course I’ve seen.”

He reminisced, “It was a very long time ago.”

Feng Xuan was caught off guard as he remembered that when he was a small phoenix egg, he had indeed been lost once due to various accidents. Could it be that he wasn’t lost that time, but stolen by the big devil?

Thinking of this, Qi Zhuoyu seemed to start reading his mind again and pinched his face, “What are you thinking?”

Speaking of which, he seemed a bit oddly proud, “You were the one who bumped into me.”

****

The period when Feng Li was pregnant with Feng Xuan was indeed very difficult.

Famous ancient gods specializing in medicine in the White Jade Capital lined up to visit Lingxiao Palace, but to no avail.

Feng Xuan’s troublesomeness wasn’t because he was overly active.

He was completely motionless in Feng Li’s belly, making Feng Li think he was carrying a stone.

Although Feng Xuan didn’t move.

Divine pregnancy was still arduous. After ten months of vomiting everything he ate and having difficulty walking, the little phoenix egg in Feng Li’s belly finally finished tormenting him. One day, it transformed into a ball of the purest spiritual energy and obediently descended into this world.

The birth of His Highness the Crown Prince.

It was a big event in the White Jade Capital and even the entire Divine Realm.

A banquet was essential, and this time it was an unprecedented grand occasion.

At that time, the Three Realms were not as clearly divided as they later became. News of the Divine Crown Prince’s birth traveled along the Biluo River, reaching even the direction of the Chaotic Sea.

In his life as a Demon God, Qi Zhuoyu’s temperament was even more volatile than it is now.

Born with an evil nature, after emerging from the Primordial River, he instinctively learned to kill and fight. The pursuit of ultimate power was almost inscribed in his instincts.

The waters of the Chaotic Sea were not inhabited by the peaceful, non-belligerent demons of today.

Those were ancient great demons, each capable of destroying the mortal world if unleashed. Qi Zhuoyu crushed their demon souls as easily as chopping vegetables. Hearing this, Feng Xuan thought to himself, no wonder the great demons that escaped during the Chaotic Sea Calamity seemed so weak. Apparently, all the powerful demons had already been killed off by the big devil.

Those he couldn’t be bothered to kill were just small fry.

At first, the ancient great demons thought to teach a lesson to this arrogant upstart who didn’t know his place.

By the end of the killing spree, the waters of the Chaotic Sea were nearly dyed red with their blood, and the demons began to submit. Some, defiant to the end, roared, “What’s so great about killing us! In the White Jade Capital of the Ninth Heaven, there’s Yingzhu, the strongest god in the Three Realms. If you can kill him, then you can truly claim to be the strongest in the Three Realms!”

Feng Xuan silently mocked, truly worthy of him.

From ancient times to now, never forgetting his original intention, determined to be the strongest in the Three Realms until death, right?

What an elementary school chicken fight king.

Covered in blood, Qi Zhuoyu listened thoughtfully.

Then he revealed a particularly standard psychopathic smile.

“Very well. This Venerable will kill him, and then slaughter all the damn gods in the White Jade Capital.”

Qi Zhuoyu killed when irritated and killed when bored.

He stayed in the Chaotic Sea for tens of thousands of years, killing for tens of thousands of years. It seemed that in his long life, apart from killing, he couldn’t find anything interesting enough to spark his interest.

And so, Qi Zhuoyu stood up and went to the White Jade Capital.

At that time, the Divine Realm was celebrating the birth of the Crown Prince.

Not long after the grand ceremony began, Feng Li, who had not yet ascended to the throne of God-Emperor, was in Lingxiao Palace, staring at the small crimson phoenix egg before him, very worried.

“It’s been so many days, why hasn’t it hatched yet?”

Feng Li wondered if he had really been carrying a stone.

Not only was it not hatching, but it also didn’t move at all.

Poking it once, he could feel it was still alive. The small phoenix egg would sway slightly, as if dazedly woken up by someone.

“Ling’er is still so young,” Yingzhu answered with a smile.

“I had already hatched when I was this old,” Feng Li muttered, “It must be your fault!”

When in doubt, blame the senior brother first.

“Alright, alright, it’s all my fault.” Yingzhu pinched the bridge of his nose and held Feng Li’s shoulders. “You’ve been watching Ling’er for ten out of twelve hours a day. He might be too embarrassed to come out even if he wanted to hatch.”

“…What kind of logic is that? I’m his father, what is there to be embarrassed about in front of me… Besides, your son will surely take after you, probably a little shameless one…” Feng Li said as Yingzhu led him out of Lingxiao Palace.

Soon after Yingzhu left, an evil wind blew into Lingxiao Palace.

Moments later, Qi Zhuoyu strode into Lingxiao Palace. Tens of thousands of years ago, he could come and go freely in the White Jade Capital as if it were his own home.

In the vast White Jade Capital, perhaps only Yingzhu, with his divine consciousness activated, could detect his presence.

Unfortunately, who would have thought?

That the invincible Demon God from the Chaotic Sea would come to the White Jade Capital.

Qi Zhuoyu had come to fight Yingzhu.
