The “YouTube Algorithm” refers to the AI system that recommends videos based on a user’s interests and viewing history. It has become a meme, often used humorously to describe how people stumble upon unexpected videos.
Videos that suddenly gain popularity and views, thanks to the YouTube algorithm’s favor, do exist. However, receiving this favor is often compared to the unlikely chance of Seo Ye hyun performing flawlessly without any mistakes.
But things have changed.
Seo Ye hyun recently completed a performance flawlessly at a festival. A video highlighting REVE member Kim Dobin then started trending, gaining significant traction through the YouTube algorithm and appearing on many users’ recommended lists. It was akin to hitting a “royal straight flush” in a high-stakes game.

With only two days left in the week, my heart raced. I’ve been relying on the easier quests like searching for fan reactions and greeting fans, while barely doing the minimum for the rest. Kim Mo-yang sat on the sofa with her sibling, both watching TV. The channel was set to Music Camp, and for once, there was no battle over the remote control. Her sibling was a long-time fan of Seoraon, and Yoon Eden, who was featuring in Sa raon’s performance, was Kim Mo-yang’s new favorite.
Seoraon’s stage was scheduled toward the end of the broadcast, so Kim Mo-yang spent the time venting on social media about how she only had 25 seconds to see her favorite while new idols performed.
“Hey, Seoraon’s up next.”
A gentle nudge from her sibling’s elbow brought her attention back from her phone to the TV.
“Let’s listen to Seoraon’s ‘A Certain Ending,’ featuring Yoon Eden of Reve,” the MCs announced.
As the song title appeared on the screen, Kim Mo-yang beamed with pride and playfully jabbed her sibling. Usually, her sibling would retaliate, but they were too focused on the screen.
In the center of the stage, decorated with lilac flowers, stood Seoraon with pink-dyed hair in front of a standing microphone.

The song is really good, Kim Mo-yang thought, humming along to the familiar melody. She had originally listened to the song for Yoon Eden’s part but couldn’t deny that the song itself was great.
