Eden, stop this nonsense.

Oh oppa, please stop…

Are you starting to say you’re an artist and not an idol now? Get a grip; you’re an idol.

Eden, let’s not lose our original intentㅠㅠ

Finding Yoon Eden’s Original Intent @ReveluvUJ
Should I start a thread about bashing Eden?
I’m already pissed off because of the fansign today, and seeing this post on Instagram is driving me crazy.

Eden, do you think I spent 200 just to see your dead fish eyes and hear “Really Medley”? lol
This comeback song sucks too, but the song you wrote for another group under your agency is awesome, right? Is the royalty money that sweet? Do you think your fans are easy?

Danma @danma11
I brought a headband, and he told me to my face that it was too tacky to wearㅠ Is that something you say to a fan?

Why should I stop? Yoon Eden, who’s caught the “artistic disease,” should see this and get his act together.
Did he forget the time he was living in a basement as a nugu idol?

Hey, hey, is Eden not renewing his contract?
At the fansign, when asked to give a small spoiler for the next concept, he said, “Well, I don’t know if I’ll be here then.”

Five Star Dream @fivestar_dream
What the hell is this?

Wow, you made it, Yoon Eden. Even got a schedule for a Star Magazine interview.
I admired the studio illuminated by the lights as I took a seat.
“I’m curious how you felt when your song made a comeback after Ye-hyun’s fancam went viral.”
“Honestly, when our song charted, it didn’t feel real. I kept asking the members if it was really our song until they told me to stop asking, haha.”
Although the interviewer was focused on our team’s eldest member and the face of the group, Seo Ye-hyun, who single-handedly revived our failing group, I wasn’t particularly upset.
Isn’t catching the bus the best way to make easy money? Thanks to that, I’ve earned quite a bit.
The group I lead, “Reve” is a 7-year-old, five-member boy group approaching the end of our contract.
Reve has many nicknames: “Miracle of a Small Agency,” “Fancam Idols,” “Success Story of a Comeback,” “Seo Ye-hyun and His Boys,” and so on.
After our debut album and follow-up songs failed miserably, we were on a smooth path to obscurity, with nobody recognizing us even when we took the subway.
At the brink of disbandment, we revived thanks to a fancam of Seo Ye-hyun taken at an event.
Although the songs we released afterwards didn’t explode, we gained enough recognition that people would say “Ah, those guys?” when our group’s name was mentioned, reaching the level of a second-tier idol group.
The problem is our clueless agency, who, instead of capitalizing on the opportunity, wasted time fighting with their artists. As a result, public attention focused solely on Seo Ye-hyun.
I’d bet my new house in Cheongdam-dong that if you asked people about our group, they’d only mention Seo Ye-hyun.
“Eden, it’s been 7 years since Reve’s debut. As the leader, is there anything you’d like to say to the fans?”
Towards the end of the interview, I delivered my prepared response with a bright smile.
“Thank you for the past 7 years. Now, I want to fully pursue the music path I’ve been longing for. From now on, you’ll see me as producer Yoon Eden, not Reve’s Eden.”
Four pairs of shocked eyes turned towards me. The interviewer, slightly flustered, hurriedly wrapped up the interview.
“Did you have to say that in the 7th anniversary interview?”
Gyeon Ha-jun scolded me, and I nonchalantly replied, picking my ear.
“It’s better than lying and saying we’ll continue, don’t you think?”
“Eden, that’s not the point.”
“Most of them are Ye-hyun’s fans anyway. They’ll just read his part of the interview and move on.”
Gyeon Ha-jun, looking like he wanted to say more but couldn’t find the words, turned away with a frustrated expression.
“Why is he overreacting when he knows I’m not renewing my contract?”
I muttered loudly enough for them to hear, and the youngest member, Ryu Jae-hee, snapped at me.
“It’s not about the contract; it’s about your attitude towards the fans. You’re so clueless.”
“How many fans do I even have?”
“You’re the second most popular after Ye-hyun. I don’t get why fans choose you over someone who gives great fan service like Yoo Jae.”
Ignoring the grumbling youngest, I yawned and headed towards the van.
“If you’re going to write a withdrawal statement, do it soon, hyung. Your birthday’s coming up.”
Ryu Jae-hee advised from behind, but I just shrugged.
What does my upcoming birthday have to do with it? The interview will cover it anyway. Why bother?

### The day the magazine featuring Reve’s 7th-anniversary interview was published.
In the car on our way back after our schedule, the youngest member silently handed me his phone as I was writing my withdrawal statement to post on Instagram and the official fan cafe.
When I glanced at the screen, I saw my name frequently appearing on social media.
Reve♥ @Reve_onlyone
I really don’t get it… Why did I have to learn about your withdrawal from a tabloid and a magazine instead of your statement?
Even though I doubted it, I defended you, believing it wasn’t true until you said it yourself. But this is what I get for trusting you? If you had any consideration for your fans, you wouldn’t have done this.

I’m not going to stop you from pursuing the path you want, but I can’t support you either.
Go ahead and make all that “real” music you want, but at least apologize to Daydream first.

Fan leaving @Tlqkfeden
This is so infuriating. Keeping quiet until your birthday and only announcing your withdrawal after receiving all the support, how is that not deceiving your fans?
Eden, are your fans just your cash cows? lol

XLHamster YooJae @hamzziUJae
The so-called leader throws dirt on the 7th anniversary and leaves.
The other members who put up with him for 7 years are saints, seriously. Wasn’t he always acting out in our self-produced content? Stop defending him already.

I scrolled through the posts demanding apologies from me indifferently.
“I announced it during an official schedule, is that really something to get so worked up about? People might think I scammed them for birthday gifts or something. Damn, I don’t even need those useless gifts.”
As I grumbled with a frown, the youngest member snatched his phone back roughly and snapped at me in a sharp voice.
“Have you forgotten the days when we were nobodies who couldn’t even get a single fan letter, let alone gifts? Please, find your humility, hyung.”
“What’s the point in finding humility now? I’m quitting idol life anyway.”
I shrugged and replied casually, making the youngest’s face twist in frustration.
“I’m not helping you anymore, so write your apology letter yourself.”
“Apology letter? Don’t you mean the withdrawal statement?”
“There’s no hope for you. You didn’t use to be like this.”
The youngest sighed heavily and turned his head away from me. I scratched my cheek in the stifling silence that filled the van.
Ever since I announced my withdrawal in the magazine interview, the other members, except the youngest, started treating me as if I didn’t exist, upset that I revealed none of us were renewing our contracts.
Just because I’m leaving the team, do they all have to ostracize me?
Now, even the youngest seemed to be seriously upset about something, making the atmosphere in the car even more awkward.
“Hyung, drop me off at my house.”
He told the road manager while leaning back in his seat.
A few days ago, I had finally finished arranging my new furniture and was moving into my apartment in Cheongdam-dong today. I had purchased it with my earnings and precious royalties.
Of course, Reve’s contribution to those royalties was nearly nonexistent. The bitter dispute with the agency over this would take a whole day to explain, so let’s set that aside for now.
Working as a composer and producer on the side was a genius move. Without that, I would never have been able to buy my new home.
Most CF offers and love calls were for the eldest member, Seo Yeo-hyun, as the company preferred it that way.
The car eventually stopped in front of an apartment in Cheongdam-dong.
“You have a schedule tomorrow, so don’t be late.”
“Yeah, got it. See you tomorrow.”
I replied nonchalantly to the road manager as I got out of the car.
Looking around my lovely new home with emotional eyes, I entered the bedroom and collapsed onto the bed, a grin spreading across my face.
“Days like this do come, huh.”
From a shabby, damn basement to an apartment in Cheongdam-dong, this is truly a success story.
After washing up and lying back down, I needed to get some sleep to handle my last official schedule tomorrow.
I could finally make the music I wanted without any power struggles with the agency.
Beep, beep, beep-.
I faintly heard notification sounds.

“…Hyung. Eden hyung!”
The voice I’d heard for the past seven years, familiar to the point of annoyance, rang loudly in my ears.
I had moved out of the dorm and never shared my new home’s password with that brat.
So why was the youngest’s voice echoing clearly above me, not through a phone but directly in my ear?
“What the hell, man? How did you get my house password, you little—”**
Barely finishing my instinctive cursing, I heard a beeping sound right next to my ear.
At the same time, a sharp, static-like sensation ran through my body. Wincing at the sting, I drew a sharp breath.
Thinking it might be a phone notification, I groped around the bed for my phone. Suddenly, a square, semi-transparent blue window appeared before my eyes.

The exact same text appeared on the status window as before.
Feeling another sharp sting, I didn’t have time to focus on the pain as a chill ran down my spine. Seeing hallucinations usually meant some sort of mental illness.
Maybe I should book a consultation at a psychiatric hospital.
Thinking this might be a hidden camera prank as a parting joke, I quickly felt around my face, but unfortunately, there was no VR device there.
“What’s wrong, hyung? Are you so nervous about debuting today that you’ve lost it?”
Oh, it looks like I might have lost it a bit.
But what nonsense are you talking about? How many years has it been since our debut, and now you’re saying we’re debuting today?
Seems to be an interesting start
I really don’t get what’s the problem? I mean, he was rude, but only he knows how frustrated he is with the company controlling them or something from what he said. I don’t get those fans either, he was very much an a**h***for disregarding his fans gifts for his birthday, but aren’t the people online being too much for just announcing that he is gonna go into producing? And what is wrong with that statement that producing is real music? Afterall, being an idol is much more than music. I admit there are many good idol songs, but what they focus on more seems to be merch, stage performance, variety shows and such isn’t it? Why don’t atleast one person try to understand him? I mean his team members. We can’t expect the whole public to understand, but why isn’t there ven one person?
Idol in korea and japan is always in hard situations ig…. they have so many competitors and crazy fans…
I read the manhea before reading the novel but damn, I’m so pissed off! not at him of course…still he could at least write a statement on his account that he’s leaving the group.
