Synopsis
Kang Taemi, the second daughter of TS Group, lands in hot water after causing a major scandal right after becoming the director of their new gochujang (chili paste) division. As punishment, she’s exiled to the remote countryside village of Suchang-ri—where her father, the stern Chairman Kang, orders her to “reflect on her sins” by working in a chili pepper field for six months.
Her plans for quiet redemption crumble, however, when a rural heartthrob storms into her life—turning her disciplinary stint into a sizzling, “organic, farm-fresh romance” she never saw coming.
Excerpt (steamy tension edition)
Taemi’s eyes darkened with desire as she whispered to Kang Hoon,
“Just one kiss. That’s all.”
His lashes trembled. Clutching a rose-patterned blanket, he muttered,
“…Really just a kiss?”
She gripped his face, tilting it up—
“Hng.” A shaky breath escaped him.
Taemi smirked. “Don’t you trust me?”
With a playful shove, Kang Hoon collapsed onto the bed like a shower of petals, a gasp tearing from his lips.
