When Fu Yuling went to boil hot water, she went to the room and saw He Wen and He Qiu sitting together with the same expression. She laughed quietly and left after getting the things.
After the water boiled, she ladled some into a container to drink and poured the rest into a wooden tub. She poured cold water and hot water together. After feeling that the temperature was just right, she stood at the door and called out.
“Xiao An, come and take a bath.”
Xiao An soon appeared at the door, still a little unsteady as he walked over to her.
Fu Yuling quickly scooped him up and straightened up. “So heavy, Xiao An has gotten fatter.”
He An looked down and pinched his belly, pointing at it, “Belly.”
It was a white expanse, just the right amount, not too fat or thin. Fu Yuling undressed him and let him bathe himself.
She watched by the side and occasionally helped him.
When he was done, putting on his clothes was a bit difficult. Fu Yuling saw that he didn’t call her, so she didn’t go to help.
There was a hissing sound, and through the hole that had been torn open, He An’s one eye blinked and looked at Fu Yuling.
He held up the clothes, his small body motionless, and the clothes were still covering his entire head.

The rest was just some cold dishes, paired with a few steamed buns to eat. It’s not exactly a feast, but at least satisfying.

After thinking about it, she decided to include that as well. She actually wanted to make soy milk, but the reality didn’t allow it.
After all, there was no soy milk machine here yet. Even just grinding the beans would require going to someone with a special machine and paying them to do it.
